Lovely spot to stop and relax. Very friendly owners, always up for a natter. Enjoyed great coffee and delicious home made carrot cake. Sat overlooking the pretty garden watching the roos lazing in the sun. Browse the selection from local KI and other Australian artists.😊

Worth a stop. Lovely setting for lunch and super friendly hosts. Nice products in shop. Opening hours vary so check first as good food stop on an otherwise long bush road.

I came with some of my friends from Southern Ocean Lodge. We came more than once of course, with great service and good tapas! Gorgeous art work and hand made goodies too!

What a find. Great food, an amazing gallery of art available for purchase, a gorgeous, comfy setting, delightful owners to interact with. One of our favorite stops on Kangaroo Island.

We stopped here after visiting Seal Bay and had a good quick lunch and coffee before continuing our journey further. Food is freshly prepared and staff take interest in every visitor. Lots of arty displays around that didn't really interest us, but add to the décor and ambience. Nice place for short visit.

The artists / owners of rustic blue provide a perfect example of Australian hospitality combined with a perfect Ki experience that they've created with their vision and lots of hard work. Combined with a wide collection of Ki and mainland artist works and a simple but enjoyable menu and you've just found a great place to enjoy another part of... More

This is a wonderful stop on the south road for lunch. The proprietors were very interesting with some good stories and the artwork was lovely. The setting is a quiet, well tended garden with kangaroos (sometimes) beneath the bushes. Lunch was perfect and the hedgehog cake should not be skipped. Highly recommend this stop for a taste of life on... More

For a peaceful stopover do stop at Rustic Blue for a cup of coffee or something to eat. Also browse through the local art on display. Even the kangaroos are resting during daytime close-by. A KI must do.

A quaint gallery tucked away off the main road. Beautiful gardens with lovely sculptures and tables and chairs. Friendly kangaroos and the hosts are very hospitable and do everything they can to make you feel welcome. I always walk away with a little painting, piece of jewellery or glassware. A must visit.

A must do! If you're traveling to see the Remarkable Rocks, you should make this a lunch stop. The owners are artists with an eye for landscaping, ambiance, decor and food. A wonderful outdoor meal with a laid back atmosphere, kangaroos laze in the shade as you wander through the grounds and meander through the barns. Again, a must do!

Thank Josh T
