Great place to visit... pub is in great condition and plenty of seating. Plenty of Coopers to choose from and the food menu was good. Meals were good, only gripe was the hubby's schnitzel was cold. Meal sizes were big. Decent walk from main part of town. Walked back to Victoria Square and caught the tram in front of the... More

Always a big crowd here... Staff always very busy and friendly... Pizza's are very tasty... Great atmosphere... Sometimes very hard to get a seat or table, but that is due to being very popular on game days... No problem in watching the game, plenty of screens around the place....

Have been to the Coopers Ale House for many years (it was a family favourite), and have just returned recently. We had booked a larger than normal party, and there were also other large tables around which made the service quite slow. No staff had come and offered us any drinks and half of our table had to put their... More

Despite how delicious the food is and how magnificent the staff are- which is both true- the noise of the restaurant always gets to me. When I walked in last night around 7 the noise of the entire customer congregation smacked me as if I had walked into a brick wall! If you are hard of hearing or expect to... More

Just had an Australian Computer Society seminar upstairs and was impressed by the crispy thin pizza slices that went well with the Coopers Pale Ale. The fruit platter was generous and well constructed I didn't try the crumbed fare nor the pastry triangles Our bar attendant did a great job

We stayed a stones-throw from this lovely old pub and went there to watch Friday night football & grab a feed and have a drink whilst there. The place has such a great vibe, heaps of big screens to watch sport. It was freezing cold weather & the warmth of the wood fired pizza oven was very welcoming. The food... More

Is it the food? That is important! However what separates one excellent meal from another is the waiting staff. It is the excellent meals AND the excellent service which keep us coming back to The Earl. We especially appreciate the service provided by Tori. I hope the management appreciate her as much as we do.

I had the beef snitzel. It was the worst snitzel I have ever eaten. It was raw and tough. However the reef sauce on top was delicious. My partner had the chicken snitzel and it was very enjoyable.

Good pub-meal. Nothing fancy - perhaps a little over priced for what was on offer. Salad and side dishes certainly nothing to rave about.
