Is it the food? That is important! However what separates one excellent meal from another is the waiting staff. It is the excellent meals AND the excellent service which keep us coming back to The Earl. We especially appreciate the service provided by Tori. I hope the management appreciate her as much as we do.

I had the beef snitzel. It was the worst snitzel I have ever eaten. It was raw and tough. However the reef sauce on top was delicious. My partner had the chicken snitzel and it was very enjoyable.

Good pub-meal. Nothing fancy - perhaps a little over priced for what was on offer. Salad and side dishes certainly nothing to rave about.

After a disappointing visit to the new Coopers Alehouse at Gepps Cross, my husband and I decided to revisit the original. This place is an Adelaide institution. It's not fancy but the food is consistently good and we were not disappointed this time. Famous for their schnitzels, their range of toppings is impressive, the serving sizes are generous and the... I haven't been here all that much since a work lunch where I had a pretty ordinary schnitzel (which is enough to put me off the place). However when I was back in Adelaide over Christmas I decided to check it out again and I have to admit that I was really all that impressed. Okay, the pizzeria was a... More

Where do I start. The place just nails it! I have now been to 2 funtions at this place on the last 3 weeks and not put a foot wrong. The 1st was a corporate dinner and drinks for 50 in the Thomas Cooper Room upstairs. Elli and the girls looked after us brilliantly and the meals were the best.... More

Very busy resturant, however we were still able to hold a conversation. Meals reasonably priced. Our Family all had a version of the Chicken Snitzel which we all enjoyed. The service was friendly although a couple of times two of our group got forgotten with drinks and one person waited for their meal whilst the rest of the 12 people... More

We got there early just before 6pm bar was busy. Realised later we were lucky to get a table. Service with a smile by everyone that served us even those walking by our table. Food was divine, steak cooked perfectly and the roo fillets melted in your mouth. Definitely the place to be by 6.30pm not one table available only... More

Stopped-in after a long day of walking in Adelaide Civic. The place was very friendly and clean. A ports type pub, but there are many places where one can tuck away from TV screens and just enjoy a nice quiet drink. We had a glass of white wine - it was very hot out, and just enjoyed a chill hour... More
