We, as a family wanted to find somewhere for dessert after dinner and decided to go for a walk with the family plus the family dog. Our initial thoughts was a takeaway Ice Cream as we had the Dog with us, but we came across...a gorgeous little dessert cafe called Chocolate Taperia, which had inside and outside seating. Although it was a pleasant balmy evening, we asked if we could sit inside but we had our dog. To our surprise, and delight, the lady working that night said it was okay, “we’re pet friendly here”... First tick ✔️ on how good this place was. Next was the food and drinks. We all had a variety of cold and hot drinks along with to eat, the house speciality Churos and a chocolate fondue with fresh fruit. Besides being all freshly made, there was more than ample fruit for the dipping. Highly recommend this establishment for either a quick hot or ice chocolate, coffee or cocktail, along with a scrummy dessert to finish a night off after being out for dinner as it is open late, or like us, just going for a walk with the dog.More

Macarons dense and heavy. Everything was average on platter and didn't finish. $32 wouldn't come back.

This is a great place to visit at night, after dinner, and for supper. The churros are amazing, especially the plain ones with milk chocolate and cream! Many other sweets and drinks, hot and cold, to choose from.

The menu looks fantastic. Granddaughter had Mmmmmm&m brownie that was fantastic. Others had the fondue of which was nice. I had the banana crepe. The banana with toffee was excellent unfortunately I needed a steak knife for the crepes that were a cross between pita...bread and leather. An excellent ambiance and concept with wobbly tables and an echoing space.More

This place has everything: from the amazing desserts to a warm "Belle Époque " atmosphere. The place is warm, elegant, intimate, has nice music and the staff is very kind and helpful, they know how to explain the menu and are honest about it. Unfortunately...we ordered just a sticky date pudding that was to die for and comes with two balls of vanilla gelato and some nut crumbled on top.. you have to try. I can't wait to go back to try the Galliano crêpe.More

Stopped in for dessert, churros with the milk dipping sauce were amazing, as was the white hot chocolate. The place is small and with the constant opening and shutting of the door it was hard to stay warm.

Great atmosphere and cosy spot especially for a cold night for a sweet treat and like warm coffee. 4 of our party of 5 ordered the churros we all found them a little over cooked but no too bad other than that however the 5th...person never received thier order and we ended up cancelling it which was disappointing in the end. Would give it another go but not in a hurry.More

Yummy churros and nice teas - great place for dessert on a Saturday night with a group of friends - we had one of the booths as well which made it even more special.
