My partner and I went here and stood in the doorway waiting to be seated or even acknowledged. Despite 3 staff members seeing us and not having much to do they ignored us. We then went and sat outside thinking maybe we'd give them the benefit of the doubt and they had table service. Alas no. We waited 10 minutes... More

A nice change from the normal type of pizza joint. We had the gluten free tapas - humus with lamb, and the vietnamese salad. Both were very good. Nice atmosphere, lots of wine selections, and interesting pizzas. I would go back and recommend it if you want to try something different.

It's my second visit to Mekt in Waymouth street and this time enjoying a pepperoni pizza ; when suddenly it struck me that it is crispy from start to finish but not so that you need new crowns on your teeth afterwards. Topping is as you would expect .. Except that they are still juicy and tasty with the roasted... More

Friendly staff and helpful wit booking a table. Pizzas were good and the menu was quite different from the normal listings of pizzas. Disappointing that the duck calzone wasn't available but the Turk was good too. Good atmosphere and an easy to eat place.

What a great night we had at Melt last Saturday night! Just the 2 of us, perched at the bar in a full restaurant. Great noise, atmosphere, smells, hustle ... it was really cool. Food here you cannot fault. We had the share option - best value in town seriously - with a couple of bottles of Italian red. Absolutely... More

We ordered 3 pizzas and they were excellent! The right flavor, and the crispy pizza were excellent. I would recommend this restaurant to all others.

We hadn't made a reservation and so we're seated at the bar, which actually was really nice. We ordered the set menu for 39 dollars a head and the food was superb. A selection of starters folders by a beautiful pizza and dessert. There was more than enough to feed is both and it was freshly cooked. There's a great... More

Perfect before a movie night. We shared the beans, garfish and brisket tapas dishes. Everything was delicious and the Shiraz and Tempranillo went perfectly. We enjoyed it so much we booked for the next night. Unfortunately that was the night of the blackout so we had to settle for cold food at our hotel.

I went to Melt with a group of work mates and it was a pleasant experience. Most of our table wanted the banquet ($29/head) but because a couple of people in our group didn't we weren't able to get it which was disappointing. My pizza was really yummy. The service was ok. The ambiance was pretty average, the room was... More
