Good Restaurant to do lunch and discuss business

Visited this restaurant to meet with a business colleague and was very surprised. The food was excellent (have not had rice as fluffy and light for a very long time), very tasty (I had the vindaloo) and service very friendly. Also being lunch the sides were free - nice surprise. Worth a visit... read more

It was a Sunday evening and we had not expected a lot of restaurants to be open. We came upon Bollywood and decided to give it a go. We ordered Vegetarian Samosas to share as an entree, Allo Gobi and Kerala Fish curry for our mains, along with a serving of Naan bread and Basmati rice. All of the food... More

I have found Indian can be hit and miss with dry gristly meat, but the meat here was gristle free and moist. It was cooked perfect. The staff were friendly and always on top of serving.

We ate one night when the restaraunt was quiet and the food was quite poor and the service was really below par. We wanted some more naan and my wife had to literally walk up to the server who had been playing on his phone for the last few minutes and interrupt him to ask for the naan.

Look ordinary from outside and was. Food over cooked and dry - gravy had nice flavour - cheap prices, cheap food Service lacking - food was dumped on table

As an Indian food "tragic" the meals we ordered were average at best. We had the butter chicken, goat curry and prawn curry. For starters we ordered shish kebabs and fish pakora. Of all the dishes we had the goat curry was the best -- tasty and spicy. Service was just acceptable. Suspect there are many more better Indian restaurants... More

in the same street as the corner bistrot is an indian restaurant called bolywood indian restaurant. once again the decoration is non existant, it is very dark, clean just enough. the food is average in taste and quantity. the service is adequate, but nothing special. the price is reasonable, but you can do a lot better when it come to... I have been to Bollywood many times and I think it is perfectly acceptable, not great, but not poor. I had the CTM and it was so mild that I instantly regretted my choice. The host was courteous and attentive, the service prompt, but the fact that there are only three tables occupied tells it's own tale. Great location, good... More

Family-owned restaurant, food is fairly average. Tried quite a variety of curries, naan bread and papadums. Rather quiet for a Friday night - most of the noise was coming from an Indian music video playing on a flatscreen TV in the corner. Was not impressed with the service. Not only was it slow, the waitress talked back to my father... More

Our party of 8 dined here last night and had an array of different dishes all were very nice but this restaurant lacks charm and the true Bollywood feel. There was no Indian vibe about the place at all. The TV up on the wall could have had Bollywood dances on there but to no avail. The Indian guy that... More
