Chose the new saigon for a takeaway. The food was of high quality. The only downer was it was low tide on some of the dishes. Would recommend also to dine in though. The atmosphere was placid with dinner's enjoying their night.

The food here is fantastic, fresh and aromatic everything that you want in Vietnamese food, run by a couple wife in the kitchen and husband on the floor if it's busy be patient the food is more than worth the wait. Chicken noodle soup is one of our favourites and great value for money.

Don't be put off by the décor, the food and service will more than satisfy! Excellent range of authentic Vietnamese and Thai dishes all under $20. Fresh and flavoursome casual dining that's really hard to beat

This little restraunt provided fantastic customer service and the food was magical so many flavours with good sized servings. Great value for money.

Very good food of a mixed variety (Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai). The service was good - efficient and friendly. Only a small café with limited seating, so a very informal environment.

The better half and I have frequented the G.C as we call it 11-12 times over past 10 years. Our first time visit to this restaurant. We were looking for a Vietnamese meal, this came up on trip advisor with mixed reviews. So visited with no expectations. Yes the decor is humble and the building is curiously odd as well.... More

We ordered some Thai and some chinese. It was nice, but too be honest - I have had better. We had asked for super spicy and it was at best mild. The sauces were a bit thin. I really liked the coconut sticky rice (although quantity for $4.5 was a bit small). Also they don't split bills and we were... More

What you see is what you get at the New Saigon. But this is an honest place that serves authentic food at a very reasonable price. They haven't spent much on decor but who cares when you get food this good. Service is up and down but it is one of the most authentic Vietnamese restaurants on the Gold Coast.... More

Food is good, service and atmosphere are non existent. Would not be so bad but the food is a little pricey. I want better service for that amount of money thanks. They need to put the waiter in the kitchen and put some one out the front who can smile

This is our local Vietnamese restaurant...we probably go here at least once a month. Front of house is entirely handled by the husband and his wife is out the back in the kitchen and boy, she cooks up a storn. Have tried the Malaysian and Thai dishes but honestly, it's a Vietnamese restaurant run by a Vietnamese couple so I... More
