I have visited chaing mai thia at irregular intervals over the past 15 years. The food used to be amazing, as they opened more restaurants you could tell that they were not hiring new chefs that were on par with the old high standard. Now the thia food is mediocre at best. There are far better thia places out there.... More

To be honest it was a good dining experience. The food taste fantastic and staff are friendly and look after you. The lighting is not enough though.

Amazing interior and great food! This is my second time here and I would say it's the best thai place in surfers. However make sure not to order "spicy" for your salads, the paw paw salad was dammmnmmn spicy!

Really delicate flavours, authentic Thai dining and very large range of choice. Inside & alfresco balcony dining. Not to be missed. Excellent for large groups, family or romantic evening. Parking limited restaurant gets busy so booking essential

We were having trouble finding an Asian meal in Surfers Paradise that didn't include pigs trotter, tripe or other offal and was I a reasonable price range. Happened across Chiangmai Thai inside one of the mantra hotels on Palm Avenue. The ambience and service was sensational. Pagodas converted into seating and chairs carved into the shape of elephants. It is... More

Literally the best Thai Restaurant I've been too. Had the Duck Cashewnut and Coconut Rice, along with the Phanang Curry which was all amazing. The Satay Chicken was a great entree and is perfect for 2. Must also add that it appears that this Thai Restaurant brews its own beer locally on the Gold Coast, and it is really good.... More

Vibrant atmosphere. Feels like your in thailand with the water feature and ornaments. Ordered extra stir fried vegetables thinking there wouldn't be enough... Oh how i was wrong.
