My daughter said that the food we had was the best Thai food she has ever tasted. We were delighted with the selection and very happy that we chose to come here.

The best I can say is that the portions at Chiang Mai Thai are generous and the byo license saves the diners a few dollars. Slicing precooked meat into a lukewarm sauce is not authentic Thai cooking. The decor (carved elephants and pictures of the King etc.) may create an illusion; the reality is that the food is medicre. Very... More

Enjoyed this place a lot. Decor was fantastic with beautifully decorated statues and furnishings. The service is what you would expect and the food was solid. The servings were large and we had a lot left over which was happily bagged up for us. Only small area of improvement was that the 'hot' dishes could have packed more heat. Overall... More

We stay at Mantra Crown Towers. The restaurant is located inside the tower. It is wonderfully decorated. Accent is great. You may choose to sit outside. Food, however, is average. It is Thai style but I do not find it authentic. Service is good. Price is reasonable in comparison to other nearby offerings.

Meals and drinks arrived in good time. We all had duck which had very fatty skin, pieces had fallen off in the meal too. Ginger Pepper Duck had fresh vegetables but little ginger and could not taste any pepper. Found a small nail sized piece of bone, pointed it out to the waiter who did not seem concerned. Cashew nut... More

So often in Australia you're disappointed at local Thai restaurants because the food and flavours have been altered to accommodate the 'western' pallet. Not here though! Great authentic Thai food with full, robust Thai flavours. Full service bar, attentive, friendly service makes this place a must do.

Walking into the restaurant you didnt know what to expect but you very soon realise it must be a good place to eat by all the happy and smiling faces. We ordered the seafood and vegetables, chicken basil chilli and the traditional pad thai. The seafood was very good with some very nicely cooked vegetables. Chicken was nice but not... More

From the moment you walk in you know this place is good...wonderful decor and atmosphere, attentive, polite and quick discreet service especially the little things like a plate of complimentary nibbles while you check out the menu, water brought straight-up, wine-bucket if you BYO as we did both (we did both options as went twice in 4 days ),,,but importantly... Our family stayed at Mantra Crown Towers so this restaurant was on site and two of us love Thai food. This was sensational both times we dined there. Very popular at weekends so book for Sat. night. Take out is also very popular. Generous serves of very well flavoured dishes. Service is speedy and very courteous. Prices in accord with... More
