Food used to be good, it is the worst food now, I have ever eaten between the Persian foods. Chicken was burnt, rice very dry, kebab was still raw. I won't visit it again.

We were on holiday on the Gold Coast and went to Shiraz on a Thursday night. The place was busy, always a good sign. Staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered some bread and a few dishes to share for the four of us. The food was delicious and not too spicy as the kids ate lots too. Very good... More

Visited with family on this trip to Gold Coast . After searching online found this restaurant and thought should give it a try. The moment we entered I could feel the aroma's of the Middle East. Food was spot on and exact replica of what I have tried in the past. Authentic Iranian restaurant. Ambience could be improved a bit.... More

This restaurant has very good services and very delicious grilled meat and chicken kabab and tikka. I have ordered 2 different dishes. Both were 10/10.

It was a good break from western food. The food was not spicy and as authentic as any Iranian food we have eaten all over the world. The kebabs were juicy and cooked just right. It was a filling meal. Service was good as a family run restaurant normally has. Would visit again without hesitation.

Iran is a country with a diverse geography and ethnic population. It sits at the centre of the former Kingdom of Persia, one of the world's oldest continuous major civilisations. Iran forms a bridge between the Middle East and the Far East in the centre of the ancient Silk Road, a major trading route which goes back tens of thousands of years. Persian cuisine has influenced many world cuisines, and has absorbed elements from other cuisines as well. It's no surprise that Persian ingredients such as saffron, pomegranate and spinach have made their way into other cuisines! As ancient traders took their wares to the corners of the world, they traded goods, bringing back the eating habits and ingredients from Greece, Rome, Turkey, Russia and India. Today's Persian cuisine traces its roots to ancient Persian ingredients and recipes, and is enriched by the great tastes imported from the rest of the world!
