We visited last year and loved it so much we came again this year. With high expectations, it exceeded these again. Waitress was delightful, accommodated everything we asked, food and drinks all brilliant. Such a unique and beautiful spot. We were last to leave because we did not want it to end, but no one rushed us at all. Thanks... More

My family went to Nautilus to celebrate significant birthdays and before I went travelling for 5 months. It was good food, but it didn't have the 'wow factor' which you would hope for when paying that much and going to a restaurant with such a great reputation and history in Port Douglas. Similar with the staff too. They were great... More

Visited Nautilus on our last night in Port Douglas on a number of recommendations, and thy did not disappoint. The food was so good that I (more than once) forgot about the wine. The setting is spectacular and the staff are knowledgable and friendly. The only downside of the night was the jungle curry, which did even rate on a... More

Went back again and had the 5 course degustation again, but this time with the wines. Food was great but the wine serves where amazingly small. We queried the waiter and were advised that they served 4 x 70ml and then the final desert wine slightly smaller again. So total wine served is about 330ml over the course of dinner... More

Dear Peter M Not sure where your expertise in this matter of law or our business comes from but your review sounds biased by your big ego and by the fact that due to your rude behaviour towards our staff on the night, we actually had to ban you from our venue? Forgot to mention something? I already written this... More

Our third visit to Port Douglas each at 2 year intervals and our third visit to Nautilus Restaurant. Excellent food, excellent service but the open deck setting in amongst the rainforest trees ape is spectacularly atmospheric.

Absolutely top restaurant in more than one sense. Unfortunately , I suffer from a chronic lung condition & by the time I reached the top of the not insubstantial hill I was exhausted plus it was teeming down. However, when I regained my breath our meals were excellent, plenty of choice & busy on a wet Tuesday night. The staff... More

Nautilus was recommended to us by several friends. It ranks among the most beautiful restaurants we have ever dined in. We splurged on the tasting menu with wine and found the service and presentation to be lovely. The food was quite good ...although very pricey ...particularly if you want the coral fish. Specialty drinks very interesting and enjoyable. It did... More

We had a great dinner here. The beef duo was delicious and the Creme brûlée was an amazing tropical interpretation of a winter desert. The service was perfect and the location and atmosphere made it truly memorable

This was recommended to us and I'm pleased we listened and booked ahead. Unique experience, fully covered dining areas, set in rainforest tree setting. You can choose from a la carte to degustation menus. Gluten free not a problem, extensive wine list. Food was lovely, friendly service, complete with visits from local bandicoot family. Easy to make reservation online.
