My wife and I visited the yacht club with our two year old with high expectations. It was our last night in Port Douglas and we were looking forward to it. What we discovered was very overpriced and fairly ordinary food. The view was fantastic, the atmosphere ok but really it was all about the food, and the food was... More

We were told the Port Douglas Yacht Club was a good option for dinner with 3 generations of the family. (i.e. place for the kids to run). It was good for the kids to run but the food was very ordinary and confused. 3 of us ordered spangled emperor and each of us got a different dish - one was... More

Visited PDYC on a whim, looking for an easy, relaxed dinner with my husband and 18 month old. Thought it might be a sports club style venue, but the food was FIRST CLASS! Beautiful, fresh, up market and creative but not over priced. Kids meal was fabulous, and only $8. Venue is inviting, stylish and relaxed with gorgeous marina views.... More

Nice pub food with a very relaxing open air dinning. Our Son had the kids pasta which wasn't great but the chef gave us another one, but still not as good as the rest of the menu. Cold beers nice staff good food worth the walk from resort.

We really liked the calm setting overlooking the harbour. Service was excellent. We were met upon entering and explained how things are done. We ordered our meals at the kitchen counter and drinks at the bar and chose a table overlooking the water. There were surprisingly a number of main course choices. The food was not expensive nor inexpensive. Both... More

This is a great spot to visit and see the real lifestyle of north queensland. no need to dress up, make your order at the counter and grab a table on the lawn, and just watch the life of the yachty.... very good food, some of the best in Port Douglas, with reasonable prices. Its not fancy, its not even... More

All restaurants in Port D are expensive, but this was good value ($20-$30 mains ) the Lobster tail was great at $34. Excellent views and quick service even though it was full. staff enquired about what we thought of the meals.

We arrived without a booking and were seated overlooking the water. The meals were delicious and not over priced, like some other venues in town. We would definitely recommend the mixed spring roll entire- I even tried crocodile!! Also the whole barramundi with green curry sauce was really nice!!! We had our one and a half year old asleep in... More
