Had a few pies here - very tasty, good fillings, selection, value. Good selection of pies, some with more unusual fillings - crocodile! Good cake selection also. Great for a quick lunch break.

We stopped at Mocka's Pies from recommendations from friends. I had a chicken and veg pie and it was the best chicken pie I've ever had. They have some lovely trophies from their award winning pies and I can see why. Staff are lovely and friendly. Highly recommend a stop at Mocka's Pies.

Great selection of different Pies with the ability to taste some of the more adventurous flavours through a Party Pie size. I believe the Pastry is what makes these Pies so great as they hold firm and don't fall apart after the first bite. The Pies were that good we ate there 3 times in the week we were there... More

I was really expecting great things from this place considering all the awards they are meant to have won. Had the steak and mushroom pie which was stinking hot and very sloppy, and it only had two tiny slices of mushroom. Was very disappointed!

We called in for lunch and had a couple of wonderful pies and bought a loaf of bread. Bread was great and freah. Pies were very special and very much enjoyed. A good place to stop and grab a meal to eat there or on the go.

Whilst the food and service were good and variety of pies mind boggling ... Crocodile Laksa and Kangaroo in red wine ...... the layout of the shop could be improved to provide a better service especially at peak times such as lunch time.

Warm, fresh, tasty and original pies. A flavour for everyone. I find this friendly and hospital place to serve wonderful pies in quality and range. It makes want to keep coming back for more. I only wish they would move to Melbourne with me!

Re-opening of an iconic Port Douglas pie shop which closed for some years recently. Was possibly the best known pie shop in Australia due to the unique meat pie filling recipe. Now re-opened by Nigel Quinn using the original and still secret pie filling recipe formulated by Mocka Cheyne and his mother Belle Cheyne.
