Good range of scrumptious pies with the Crocodile being a big hit with my husband. Would happily patronise again.

Bought an apple turnover with fresh cream and it tasted so good. Pastry was light, apple cooked to perfection and fresh cream!! It was like a kid in a candy store!! What to choose for a treat!! So many choices!!

We decided to check out the place everyone said to try - and boy are we glad we did!! I had the plain steak pie, which was full of 'real' meat pieces to die for. Hubby ate the kangaroo pie, which was thoroughly enjoyed. Reasonably priced, great taste!

This place has won a few awards and have been finalists. I can definitely see why. We ordered a mini croc pie, potato pie, steak & mushroom, lamb & rosemary, kangaroo pie and barramundi pie- all amazing tasting pies. Freshly made and very flavoursome. Average cost of a pie is $5.20 and well worth it. We went by late in... More

Try the local Seafood Pie, or any of the uniquely Australian pies such as Kangaroo. Not everything in Port is expensive, this is a great quality cheap eat.

Description
Re-opening of an iconic Port Douglas pie shop which closed for some years recently. Was possibly the best known pie shop in Australia due to the unique meat pie filling recipe. Now re-opened by Nigel Quinn using the original and still secret pie filling recipe formulated by Mocka Cheyne and his mother Belle Cheyne.
