Enjoyable club

Great views of the inlet while we enjoyed an evening cocktail on the new verandah. The food has improved and we enjoyed it. But the loud rock music in the dining area needs to be altered to suit the clientele, not the staff. Sadly, it sent us home early.

There is no denying the views over the water here are spectacular. It's great to watch the boats go past. However the food could be a whole lot better. Had the Caesar salad which was 90% packet croutons and awful. My friend had the steak which was great. Another in our group had the salt and pepper squid- the stand... More

We have now gone twice to this waterfront location. Very happy with the food quality and portions. My wife and I shared a full meal both times. Steaks tender, large and tasty. Seafood plates enjoyed by all. Drinks reasonable ans scenic location not to be missed. After sunset we were treated to hundreds of flying fox bats overhead for what... More

A great place to eat, relax and watch the boats go by. The food is reasonably priced, huge portions and the staff very friendly. This is always one of the first places we head to when we visit Port Douglas, just a great atmosphere and very welcoming staff.

Tin Shed had dining both upstairs and down. We were able to be down, outside on the decking, with a great view of the marina. Go to the register to order, pay, and put the number on your table. Go to the bar, order and pay for your beverages. The hamburger was huge and a tad overlooked. The grilled barramundi... More

Had a really great lunch here with friends - beautiful spot with an amazing outlook. It also goes by the name The Combined Club and is similar to an RSL Club in that you have to register at the reception as a Visitor. We didn't have a booking (Saturday lunch time) but that was no problem and we were shown... More

The Tin Shed is popular with both locals and tourists due to it's fantastic location on The Inlet. It's a great place to watch the sun go down. Meals are club style at reasonable prices for Port Douglas. The food is not the main attraction of The Tin Shed.
