This is one of those places that looks amazing - very warm and cozy and upon looking at the menu on the street you will turn a blind eye on the prices because every now and then you are allowed to spoil yourself to a night out. However, don't make the mistake we did and keep walking - you will... More

We were misled about the sea trout meal for 2, only big bones? It turned out there were plenty of small ones as well, the meal was pretty tasteless and we opted for dessert at 2Fish instead. Besides, the meal was greatly overpriced as was the bottle of wine. An expensive lesson learned on the 7th of September 2016. We... More

From the moment we stepped foot in here we felt the warmth of the staff. Super accommodating of us even though we hadnt booked and we were a table of 7. We dine at many excellent restaurants and this was quite frankly the best experience we have ever had. The staff were friendly & helpful and you know when they... More

Had been warned you will leave this Resturant hungry due to the mean servings, but having friends flying in for the w/e of the Fresh Festival and the inviting tropical look of Harrison's we booked personally a table with the owner a week before,on arrival our table was occupied,a bad start to a disappointing night of food It is not a... Stopped at Harrisons for a late lunch, great food, the prawns were fresh off the boat, cooked to perfection. The craft beer was great. And the view sitting looking over the marina was great.

Low-end experience from a restaurant masquerading as a high-end destination. Small menu didn't prevent two main courses (one listed on the specials' board) being unavailable. Wait staff clumsy and in one instance appallingly condescending. Portions small, especially given the prices, and, well, just plain weird. A nashi pear entre should have been placed on the dessert list. A fish dish... More

Pub food parading as up market food, with prices to match. Terrible service, arrogant and lacking attention to what diners need. All in all, the worst dining experience we have had in decades. Don't go there

Went to Harrison's in Port Douglas on a friends recondition tonight a beautiful venue Unfortunately the dining experience was not up to the standard expected Staff continued to explain they were short staffed although there seemed to be several serving at different times and the restaurant was partially occupied Food was at best average and not all the menu items... I've been here twice over the past year and I cannot fault the ambiance and the casually professional service. The first meal, in October, was excellent and was similar to the menu posted on the website (which hasn't been updated for 18 months), the scallops and kingfish being the particular standouts. This time I think I badly misordered - although... More

Description
Harrisons Restaurant exists in a setting that is made for romance and fun. The colonial style house and colourful gardens create a wonderful atmosphere for cocktails, romantic dinners and celebratory events. Food is skillfully created using produce that is always fresh and preferrably local. Spencer Patrick, owner of Harrisons, has navigated Harrisons as an award winning restaurant since it's inception in 2007. Harrisons has consistently held national accolades for it's food and wine and stands alone as Port Douglas' only One Hat rated restaurant in the QLD Good Food Guide. Spencer's style draws from his training in classic French cuisine and love for all things English. His belief is that good food can be enjoyed any where in the world, but what better place to enjoy it than in Paradise!
