We were there with a group. The service was rather slow and not very attentive even though it was a quiet weekday evening. All the ones with sausages on their plate raved more and everyone else with Schnitzel etc was rather disappointed as it was bland and overcooked. The pretzels seemed to be a few days old as they were... More

With tables and chairs on the footpath and beer at a reasonable price this is a great place for a pre-dinner refresher.

Great Beers, and good service. We had a quick bit to eat, and was great to just kick back and watch the People traffic on the esplanade go by. The Beer was fresh and cold!

Went here for dinner with two friends. We ordered one crispy pork belly, one pork ribs and a jagerschnitzel. All 3 dishes were quite bad. Porkribs were so overcooked the were so hard could not even cut them with a knife. Crispy porkbelly was not crispy and also overcooked, and the schnitzel was hard dry and almost black. The side... We popped in for lunch and a beer. They do a lunch meal for $12 , I had salmon with wasabi vegetables and hubby had beef burger and fries, both were delicious . The only reason I have given a 4 is we had a wonky table and they were slow bringing the bill.

Lunch time much cheaper as Dinner But still for the price we paid for our Schnitzel, Pub meal serves are bigger and the same price or even less. Schnitzel was very thin and tiny and I could taste that it was frozen. Chips tasted fresh, Salad was bland, only a few little drops of dressing on top. Beer wasn't even... More

The service as well as the selection of beers is good and offers Germans a little home away from home. Traditional Bavarian food is well prepared, just serving what you expect from a real Bavarian Beerhouse.

We had the share plate for 2 plus bratwurst and that easily fed two adults and three kids. Chips, roast pork and pork belly were awesome as were bratwursts. Hubby and I loved the apple cabbage too. None of us liked the German meatloaf but that's personal taste. Great beers too! Go before 7 for happy hour.
