Fantastic food, great atmosphere, really relaxing! Full of happy people! Parking can be a little difficult, well worth the time spent looking.

One Vegi option for a steak place...not worth the visit. A crepe with two asparagus spears, some badly cooked mushroom and a barely noticeable amount of ricotta, a $27 meal it does not make. Good job there were plenty of chips and salad. I was underwhelmed, but my niece enjoyed her steak. And a cold beer on a warm day... More

This place is a Brisbane legend and despite the trendy fit-out, it has not lost the two key elements of great food off the grill and a local brew off the timber. If a beer is not your cup of tea, there is now a specialist bar stocking all sorts of offerings including a substantial number of rums from around... More

A must visit when in Brisbane for the steak aficionado. Not haute cuisine but a real treat for the steak purist. my go to is the rib-eye on the bone-(medium). Excellent flavour and texture and beautifully cooked ( as always). Combine with a decent red and you're away. Recommended. PS-make sure you're hungry as with coleslaw/salad, a spud and a... More

The Breakfast Creek Hotel is a restored piece of Brisbane. It is close to the river where, until the arrival of larger ships, the port of Brisbane was to be found. The hotel is known for its steak and sea food. There is a lot of outdoor dining space and shade provided by grand moreton bay figs.

We had a large work function for dinner. It was a little chaotic, but lots of fun. The meals came out in good time, and I was happy with my steak.

My Son, Husband & I went for lunch today at this pub. A Brisbane icon for it's history and supposedly for it's steaks. Only I had steak which was the "Cattleman's Rump" med/rare. It looked great but along with the dull steak knife, it was a tough as old boots! Terrible! Our Son had the Chicken Parma which he said... More

Our family have been going here for many years and it has become so trendy. Lots of areas to sit, drink and eat. The steaks are good but really overpriced and very little options.

The Breakfast Creek Hotel is a beautiful location for dinner. The steaks were delicious, as was the rest of the food.

The Staghorn Garden is a Queensland institution, thanks to its relaxed, subtropical ambiance and lush landscaping. It boasts stunning timber decks which create an artful, soft separation between the food and bar businesses. The entire area is light, bright and inviting, merging seamlessly with an eight metre high breezeway structure that links the heritage listed Hotel building to the Substation No.41 building. An open kitchen and servery is situated on one side of the breezeway, where patrons are able to choose their own steak from the chilled cabinet, in classic Brekky Creek tradition. The hotel is renowned for introducing Beer Garden style dining to Queensland. The Brekky Creek continues to hold this tradition proud as the Staghorn Beer Garden offers the very best in casual outdoor dining. The Staghorn Beer Garden boasts seating for over 500 people.
