we tried something new and it was ok. the staff was friendly but it took long to get our meal, i guess it's base on how they cook, it's fresh, the vegetarian dish we tried was good but not a fan of the lamb. The salad was not impressing, the atmosphere is good overall it's ok..it might be... read more

Went ion for Sunday Lunch. Ordered some octopus with tatziki dip and a greek salad each. The octopus was awful. Little bits of marinated octipus chopped up and so obviouslt reheated - very nasty. The Greeks salads were, to say the least, unusual and not good. Marinated whole jalapenos or similar in them, no tomatoes, badly mixed (my partner had... More

Service was prompt and friendly. Food was very ordinary. Greek salad was limp and no attention to presentation of any of the meals was made. Wines available appear to have been chosen for their markup value rather than taste. Overall very disappointing. Would not return.

I am not really a fan of Greek but we were going here for a work dinner for Christmas. I live in West End so had seen that this place gets really full so had to be pretty good. The restaurant has inside and outside seating although tonight we had a large table outside. As soon as we had sat... More

An old faithful in West End, with good food in a festive street-side atmosphere. The servings are generous and the service is decent. Ouzeri offers a reliable no-fuss experience of Greek cuisine.

I tried this good restaurant as my boyfriend, born in Greece, missed the greek cuisine. We spent a beautiful night at Ouzeri, eating a vegetarian and a beef meal. The dishes were faithful to the original greek ones, and a special thanks goes to a blonde woman (I think she was the manager), that welcomed us politely and prepared the... More

Called in with no booking but staff were fantastic and helpful. A table for four was prepared so quickly and we were not rushed and service was so smooth and professional. We had eaten here before and we ordered too much food (our fault) so this time we asked for help and the advice we were given was perfect. Members... More

Average food, sausages on the Olympus platter tasted like "Coles" cheap snags, and was charged $5.00 for "Mineral water" which came from a tap.

The food was tasty and fresh and seemed genuine to its roots. The venue is a let down but for the most part Ouzeri cannot change the issues, they are just a problem with the area. There were homeless people asking for change and lots of smokers around. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

I went there for the first time. It was 10 of us so we ordered the share plate. Shrimp was great. I also liked variety and volume of the plate. Enough to share among 6 ladies. Lamb was very tough and could eat all. But overall good plate of food. We are all generally happy. BYO wine helped us too.
