We had a birthday lunch at the Mecca bah with 5 friends. As a coeliac I was delighted when they were able to give me a separate menu that had so many GF options available. I chose some delicious kebabs and salad, and the others enjoyed some tasty tangine and some very delectable pastries and I had the pistachio &... More

I have been going here since it opened. It seemed to have some hiccups and change of management a couple of times. However, the atmosphere, food, and service are now fantastic. I recommend the salmon grill. The same male bar tender has been working on my last two visits. He asked several questions about my husband's drink order and made... More

After reading the good reviews I am sorry to say this was a BIG disappointment. Was so looking forward to lamb shanks with some sort of flavour and spice to them given the middle eastern theme but they were not only tough but so so incredibly bland. The $12 entree of 6 tiny pieces of Halloumi were totally under whelming... More

I ate here with middle eastern friends who said the sweet potato falafel was among the best they had ever had in Australia. It was pretty amazing. We also ordered salad, a selection of mezzo starters - including olives , hummus (v good) , a vegetable tangible (which I thought was a bit disappointing) and the haloumi with pomegranate salad-... We had a group of 9 for lunch at this restaurant. The food was great and very reasonably priced. We were very happy with the service - the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We celebrated our anniversary last weekend and we're looking for somewhere really special for the occasion. The Mecca Bah met all of our expectations with great food, service, and atmosphere. We chose the Seafood Pizza, Calamari Salad, and Beetroot Salad which all had their own unique flavours. Highly recommended!

2nd visit in 2 years in visiting Brisbane. My wife and I are very pleasurantly reminded of great times in Istanbul. The cuisine in this restaurant is great and we highly recommend it. The atmosphere is good in a covered over air seating. The age range of our last dining experience here was from late 20s to mid 60s and... More

I was travelling with a friend and she had a hankering for middle eastern cuisine. I chose this blindly but was not disappointed. I registered online as a VIP customer which entitled me to a free mezzah plate. They tailored for us as non meat eaters and it was superb. Followed by the vine leaf wrapped barramundi on the grill... I have dined at Mecca Bah in the Valley a few times now and they never disappoint. The food is devine and the service is great. If you haven't already enjoyed the banquet. It allows you to experience a bit of everything they have to offer. If you're not brave enough to tackle the banquet, try the swordfish. It's amazing.... More

I know most people only write down reviews when they have a lot to complaint, we all tend to forget the good but remember the bad. My wife and I had a double date with our friends last Saturday and our waitress was a very lovely little asian girl. At first we thought she was too tiny and timid to... More

Description
Mecca Bah provides a modern interpretation of Moroccan and Middle Eastern cuisine in a spectacular setting that will whisk you away to another world. The innovative menu encourages guests to taste a range flavours. Mezze are served in hand made serving dishes from Tunisia and provide a contemporary take on traditional dishes including Turkish kofte with yogurt and mint sauce and kataifi pastries filled with Middle Eastern cheeses. Mecca Bahs award-winning Turkish pizzas, such as roast pumpkin, chilli, pomegranate jam and fetta, and tasty tagines, including lamb with preserved lemon, green olive and harissa, are popular menu choices. Warm colours, soft cushions, and Middle Eastern trimmings, such as rows of colourful tagine pots and intricate mosaic wallpaper, create a magnificent illusion of a traditional Moroccan eating house and the refreshing open-air design and deep banquette lounges provide the perfect opportunity for guests to soak up the ambiance.
