Late night dining, stopped in for a pizza, not what we expected, reminded us of Turkish food rather than a traditional pizza but did not disappoint. We shared the Lamb pizza and it was sensational. So fresh, tasty, tender lamb and all round wow factor.

We dined here with another couple after a long day travelling both around and in Brisbane. It was a lovely evening so the outdoor setting was very appealing. We shared the $39ph banquet which I would say was good but not a standout. Some dishes were better than others but at least the banquet option gave us an opportunity to... More

We had dinner at Mecca Bah in the Emporium last night and had good tagines. I had the seafood tagine with cous cous and my partner had the eight vegetable terrine. The starter of potato cakes stuffed with goats cheese and pistachios was seriously good though - better than the tagines, which were good. I had the orange blossom cheesecake... More

Great range of food from different countries but similar taste base.- it works. The setting and decor is great with easy parking out front or on the side. Introduced to it by my niece.. It is now a family must when visiting my sister and her family in Brisbane.

Went here with colleagues for dinner last week. Menu is a bit of a mish mash of Mediterranean and North African food that at least by european standards is not authentic- my chicken kebab was bland and very under spiced. Service was disorganinsed, they brought the wrong drinks and got one of my friends orders wrong. Would not go back

At the end of a 6 week holiday in Brisbane, my family and I went for a meal at the Mecca Bah in Fortitude Valley. There were 4 adults and 3 kids in our party. We started with dips and Turkish bread which was excellent. We between us had Garlic chicken kebabs, Lamb meatballs, and Turkish pizza. A couple of... More

It was a little difficult to locate, a bit tucked away. Very tasty middle eastern food, i had the seafood tagine, which had great flavours. Also tried the falafel which was great too.

Service was a little slow to start. I was there early and had to wait for a friend to arrive so did that whole awkward nigel thing and went on to fb for kicks, played a little pokemon, did a little insta.... But after 10 to 15 min sitting alone it dawned on me that no one had asked if... More

We went for my birthday. I love middle eastern food and this restaurant certainly fits the bill. We started with a selection of entrees which we shared. I then had the lamb shanks with pearl couscous which were tasty but a little dry. My dining companions were also pleased with their meals. Service was not brilliant.

Service was good, efficient, and quick. Pizza's were yummie, but could do with a little more filling. Tagines were tasty and the added cous cous was appreciated.

Description
Mecca Bah provides a modern interpretation of Moroccan and Middle Eastern cuisine in a spectacular setting that will whisk you away to another world. The innovative menu encourages guests to taste a range flavours. Mezze are served in hand made serving dishes from Tunisia and provide a contemporary take on traditional dishes including Turkish kofte with yogurt and mint sauce and kataifi pastries filled with Middle Eastern cheeses. Mecca Bahs award-winning Turkish pizzas, such as roast pumpkin, chilli, pomegranate jam and fetta, and tasty tagines, including lamb with preserved lemon, green olive and harissa, are popular menu choices. Warm colours, soft cushions, and Middle Eastern trimmings, such as rows of colourful tagine pots and intricate mosaic wallpaper, create a magnificent illusion of a traditional Moroccan eating house and the refreshing open-air design and deep banquette lounges provide the perfect opportunity for guests to soak up the ambiance.
