We came here one evening just on a whim and what a find! We fortunately arrived early (around 6 pm) as, by 7:30 pm, the entire restaurant was full. Very nice atmosphere, decorated to make you feel like you are in Nepal. Food was very tasty and service was also very good. A very nice and unique place if you... More

I absolutely love the food here! The breads are made the same day so very fresh. They have very good vegetarian options and the service is really great! The decor and music makes you really feel like you are on a Himalayan peak. I try to visit Himalayan cafe overtime i visit Brisbane!

This is another very busy restaurant we tried. Good food at a reasonable price has to get you in. Judging from the number of locals and regulars dining, they think so too.

As expected, the food was excellent and the the service matched it. We would recommend the Himalayan to anyone. Quite spicy but not too hot for those who prefer the "cooler" dishes.

I chose this restaurant to be taken out by a good friend for my birthday dinner. I had heard so many great things about this little place. Small restaurant, very casual but has a very authentic feel about it. The bread for starter was delicious as were the mains. Portions sizes are great, enough for me to take some home.... More

Entree of Himalayan bread & dip, plus vegetarian sample entree were delicious!! Mains of Sherpa chicken & lamp curries (people in previous reviews recommended these) paled in comparison. Would go again for the entrees :) but dark atmosphere with chanting music is going to be deterrent unfortunately

The food was great and the service left nothing to be desired. We sat in the back room on the low table and whilst not a truly authentic experience, it was different to the usual run of the mill. Recommended for a casual dinner with friends.
