Tried the platter of dips breads and assorted goodies - magic tastes and perfectly portioned - beautiful taste sensations and packed out with siners every night we visit. A constant on our top 10 dining experiences in Brisbane.

if you are keen for Turkish you cannot go past Caravansari, in Highgate Hill. Great food, friendly staff amazing décor and atmosphere. it is BYO and the meals are well priced and delicious. You can dine outside or inside (can be quite noisy) A great night out

The venue is great for small and large groups and has a warm and cosy atmosphere. The waitstaff are very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious! Keep in mind that it is BYO. I was caught out and settled for the Turkish Lemonade. There is a bottle shop nearby. Highly recommended!

What a lovely place to enjoy a night with friends. The food was beautiful and came in good time. The wait staff were attentive but not intrusive. The Turkish delight was.... Delicious! Can sit inside or out

Wnet for a spontaneous dinner date on a Thursday night, surprisingly the place was very busy. However, we got served fairly promptly. We ordered today's special (a lamb shank with sweet potato mash) and marinated chicken with lentil salad and feta&sweet chilli bread as an entree. It was my first time having a Turkish dish so I wasn't sure what... More

I find the Istanbul Sublime platter for two to be the best value and very generous. I've dined here with a Kurdish Turkish friend, a chef himself. He finds the food authentic and among the best Turkish food he's eaten in Australia. The atmosphere is great, but I definitely prefer to eat inside. It's best to book a table as... More

So disappointed in our deluxe banquet last night. I had been a couple of years ago and had it, and raved about it to my friends... I felt so bad for saying how good it was and getting them all to come last night. The food was delicious, but nowhere near enough... For $450 we got two meze plates, some... More

I have visited this restaurant many times over the years and it never disappoints. The customer service is spot on: there when you need them but unhurried and not making you feel like you need to leave as soon as you finish. They genuinely make you feel like you can take as long as you like which we did on... More

One of my favourite restaurants in Brisbane. Beautiful food, generous share plates. Wonderful ambience, even during mid week
