We have eaten there many times, tried many different meals, and also had take out. There was one single time we were a bit disappointed, every other time we loved it. Tasty food, big enough portions, reasonable prices for the food (although the tea and corkage fee are pretty stiff), attentive staff - the boss tends to hang around and... More

Came here for my cousin's birthday dinner on a Sunday night. The staff seated us immediately and were very friendly. We ordered the hor fun, gado gado, salted egg yolk chicken, and oats prawns. With the exception of the gado gado, everything else was very good. The gado gado wasn't authentic (or at least not the same as dishes I've... More

Extremely happy with the authenticity of the dishes served. Lady owner was very friendly and attwntive. Ordered the Assam fish, salted egg yolk chicken and belacan veggie which was absolutely spot on! Best Malaysian Chinese Restaurant experience we ever had.

We are regulars at this local restaurant because we love all the dishes we've tried - laksa, noodles, rice, fish, meat - they're all good and have that authentic Malaysian flavour. The owner Raymond is very friendly and warm and we're so thrilled to be able to get decent Malaysian food so close to home.

I really felt like a famous Malaysian dish called rojak so I headed to Satay Ria.When I asked if they had rojak the waiter looked at me like very puzzled - they did not have rojak and had never heard of this dish. The waiter suggested a dish called gado gado which was nothing like rojak and was just a sloppy... Food was good, although the service wasnt as good as it should've been. it took far too long for our order to be taken, other diners had arrived at the same time as we did and they were eating and our order was still to be taken and some entree items were delivered after most of us had eaten.

We were strolling about in this part of Chinatown in the Fortitude valley when we walked in for dinner at this place. We were basically checking the menu when the owner / attendant very warmly invited us in (and we just could not say 'No') Lucky we went in, as we ended up having an awesome dinner. There's lots to... Great laksa. Great everything actually - never been disappointed. Our family with young child always welcome and Owner treats customers with warmth and familiarity. Easy. Yummy. No brainer for a dine in or quick takeaway meal.

There are fewer and fewer restaurants in the Brisbane Valley but the few that stayed are good. The best lunch offer is this restaurant (well on a Friday) were you get plenty of quality food. You can even sit outsite and eat your meal accompanied with traffic fumes! However, the Nasi Lemak Campur and Nasi Goreng were excellent choices BUT... More

I went with a group for Chinese New Year. We were seated quickly and given menus. Drink orders were taken but due to the amount of people these took a little longer to come out and water didn't come out at all until one of us got up to get some. The meals were quick once we'd ordered and I... More
