Found Double Shot by accident. And, what a find. Had Eggs Benny (ham) and Croque Madame - toasted ham, cheese and seeded mustard pane, poached eggs & home made onion relish. Both were sensational. And, other options on the menu looked equally inviting. We saw...a number of dishes pass our table and all caught the eye. We will be returning here in the very near future. Friendly and engaging service too.More

Under awkward conditions (limited seating due to social distancing and requirement to write down names and addresses of all patrons) during COVID the friendly team made us welcome and offered up a delightful breakfast. The food was fresh, tasty and generous while the coffees hit...the spot. Well done.More

Surprisingly busy but observing social distancing, this is a lovely cafe. Lots of goodies and very smooth coffee. Cups are biodegradable too. Recommended.

Always excellent- good service. Table service due to Covid. Very busy with Take aways - order taken & meals served in a good amount of time. Coffee good. Enjoyed the porridge. Well done to the team managing the busy take away & dine in customers...safely.More

We arrived relatively early (8.30am) on a Sunday morning for breakfast and we greeted by a friendly member of the wait staff who found us a table quickly before explaining the specials. I get the impression that the place would be full in the peak...brunch hours. We loved our smashed avocado on sourdough and fabulous Spanish special with a wonderful spiced Spanish sausage. My wife (who is ‘selective’ in her coffee tastes) said her coffee was good and my caramel thick shake was excellent too.More

This was a short trip across the river from Kangaroo Point and well worth it, really good food and good coffee too. Would have gone again but unfortunately ran out of time. Will be back next time I'm in Brisbane.

Gorgeous gem, lovely coffee. My partner had Croque Monsieur, what a delicious breakfast dish. I had the salmon breakfast bowl, packed with health and flavour. Just lovely.

Overnight stay in Brisbane to celebrate a friends 50th and we arranged to have brunch at one of the couples favourite local cafes. We was not disappointed at all as the food was amazing as well as the service was quick and friendly which is...what you want after a busy night. I had the breakfast board with side of mushroom which was like a piece of art and tasted as good as it looked. We travelled from Sydney so are very use to the coffee society of Bruch in the eastern suburbs off Sydney and Double Shot could certainly teach a few cafes in Sydney a few things. Keep up the great work Cafe “DOUBLE SHOT”More
