I work in the vicinity and often have lunch here. The lunch specials are outstanding value and quality. The waiters are professionals. Today I had the fish special and I know I will be back there next week ordering the same. Really very good. I've seen small groups share platters of food and it has looked fantastic - not to... I was craving some paella so I went online to try and find a place. Bistro Alegria came up as the best option so we decided to try it. The seafood paella was flavorful and had a good amount of fish, shrimp, mussels, and clams. I don't even normally eat mussels, but the ones in this dish were delicious! However,... More

My family and I have dined in this restaurant twice. Both times the food has been tasty (although a little expensive) and the service has seemed a little awkward. The food however is nice enough to ignore the slight discomfort of service. We had the wild boar, scallops and an antipasto platter. The prices are quite high and the portions... More

Have been to this place many times, liked it and wanted to share that experience with some overseas visitors. Unfortunately the waitress could not explain some items on the menu, the food took way longer than usual and some of the tapas on their new menu were a tad dull. The bread platter was once much better with herb butter... More

We've been to this restaurant a few times now and each time the menu changes and new innovative items are trialed (successfully!). And even though i would consider it fine dining i never leave hungry for more. Even our fussy 2 and 4yr olds manage to find food in the tapas selection that makes them clean their plates! The wait... We visited Alegria tonight (Wednesday) for my son's birthday. We had no preconceptions. To our delight, we had an unusually delicious meal. We have had tapas and ranciones before but our selection tonight was by far the best we have ever eaten at a Spanish-style restaurant. We had really hot green peppers and chorizo with spinach, mussels in tomato salsa... More

Great menu selection. Early dinner and restaurant was fully booked. Not for vegetarians. Very professional staff. Never disappoints.

First visit for a while, menu not much changed, which is good. Prices reasonable, portions generous. We had Beef paella, which is not as good as the seafood. Wine list more than acceptable for variety and quality, with prices OK. Service quite good, parking at rear.

After being let down at my original booking we took ourselves to Park Road and fortunately found a table at Bistro Alegria - and we were not disappointed! We chose some amazing tapas, drank some superb wine and ended the evening with something wickedly sweet - the whole night was deliciously satisfying and we will most definitely return!
