Am a person who goes at least once a week they do not appreciate regulars. In fact they do not deliver personalised service I realised today. That is their model. We walked in at the same time people were paying. Because the reception is so small they can't tell who is in and who is out. But we went to... More

Good Sushi that is cheap is almost impossible to find! Some people may think they know what good Sushi is and if you think that it comes delivered on a train then all I can say is ignorance is bliss. Wagaya have a nicely Japanese styled restaurant which meets halfway between your typical sushi train and the dining experience you... More

Located upstairs in the mall in the valley is a fantastic restaurant. Perfect for couples, friends or business. You can hire out a private room for $20 where u sit on the floor in true japanese style. U order off a screen located at your table and the waiters/waitresses bring it straight to u. What a fun night and very... More

One of the best dining experiences you can get in Brisbane. The staff are amazing, they've got places for larger groups, the food is fresh and made to order, plus they have Ume and shochu sours! My only negative is that even for a massive group, they won't do split bill. It's a pretty big deal breaker and surely a... More

Invited to a birthday celebration, we were a bit concerned as we are not lovers of Japanese food. However after not finding the restaurant for some time despite following a GPS to the address and eventually discovering we had to go into the Chinatown mall, we were very impressed with the atmosphere and décor of this restaurant. Our group had... More

I love reasonably priced Asian restaurants where food is ordered from a screen on a wall, each dish accompanied by a picture to help the diner choose. 8 of us dined late one Thursday night (note ordering closes at 9:30), after being seated in one of their cosy booths (plenty of room for 8 average sized people). I couldn't have... More

Been here twice now as a traveler from Melbourne over the last couple of years. It's a must for great food and experience. You order all your meals via a comp screen. then bingo it arrives hot and ready to be enjoyed. You can just keep ordering until you can't eat anymore. It's cheap and delicious.

We visit Wagaya regularly for the fun service and traditional food. There is also huge range. I am yet to have a meal that had not been fantastic

Brisbane is not a city that one would expect to find cutting edge Japanese restaurants and after a few weeks of searching and trying a number of restaurants that view is confirmed. Wagaya, a neat restaurant in Fortitude Valley, does make an effort. A large menu ordered through the online terminal in each booth is efficient although a little, as... More

Description
This is a newly opened restaurant. Last night was our first time at Wagaya, and we loved it. Good food, reasonable prices, and fun using a touch screen to order everything. Food and drink arrived within minutes of ordering. You order and eat at your own pace. Lots of options too if you don't like Japanese food. It is rated 92% on Urbanspoon
