So sad this gem is closing - we need more not less suburban restaurants of this class. Have always enjoyed a meal here - food is interesting, wine list smallish but quality, service good - and can park 40m away!

We went to Azafran after seeing it listed in the Entertainment Book, a sign at the front said it was BYO - so we went and bought a bottle of wine at the local bottle shop. Upon arrival we were given menus and water however our main meal took 50 min to arrive and was very over priced - for... More

Dear Dandelion There is always 2 sides to the story and here is ours! We are in the Entertainment book and happily offer this discount. We are advertised in this book as a licensed venue. We recently added a BYO option for ALL the other people who frequent our restaurant who don't use this card - so that they have... More

Azafran is in a small house in a suburban street and it's been a while since our last visit (possibly 18 months) which is why we decided to tried our luck and showed up around 7.15pm on Saturday night (yep, no booking) hoping to score a table for 2. Luck was with us, scoring a table on the undercover verandah... More

This quirky little restaurant is one of the best in Brisbane. The food is always great and the PanneCotta is to die for. The menu changes regularly and always has interesting food in it. Tues-Thur has a special deal 3 courses for $50 which is great value. Well worth a visit.

Went out for dinner on Saturday with my wife, and following a friends suggestion thought we would try Azafran in Annerley. All I can say is if you have not tried this place, you are missing out big time. I had the seared scallops for entree and my wife had the char grilled octopus - both were absolutely delish. For... We ate a 3 course meal which was value for money and our Turkish delight panacotta was amazing! The atmosphere was cosy and quaint.

Visited on a Friday night with a family foursome. Nice quiet location, pleasant environment and certain not one of those 'noisy' restaurants. The staff were perfect, very welcoming and not at all pushy. Excellent meal selections and generous portions. It is mid range priced and good value for money. Will definitely be back.
