My husband and I dined here earlier this month and it was a bit of a mixed bag. We've been here twice before (a few years back) and felt it was very good then. We still do but the latest experience perhaps not quite as good as the earlier ones. We were seated at a table that was right next... More

Nothing i could fault on this restaurant. Ordered the 7 course degaustation to make the most of the experience and we were very impressed with the food quality, service and knowledge of wines and food. River Views are fantastic too. Can not fault on anything!!

Have tried Aria twice now and both time have been disappointed. It just doesn't have the quality and service that I expect from a fine dining establishment. There is better value for money else where. On a positive note the view of the Brisbane river and Story bridge are amazing.

This place has everything you want in a fine dining restaurant. The table service was exceptional with detail to all of your needs. I have dined here before and i would highly recommend the locaĺly caught freshwater crayfish. The best thing about this restaurant is they make you feel special. With a macaroon to take home as you leave this... More

Attended the Young Chef's Dinner-6 courses by 6 different chef's including Arias. Half were excellent, half were average. Matching wines were disappointing especially at $170/head for food-wine, with 5 young 2015 wines and the only older wine full of sediment, which was disappointing from an apparently experienced sommelier.

Aria certainly offers a high end dinning experinece with prices to match. A three course lunch time meal will set you back $72 which isn't all that bad, but the $28 per glass for a very standard glass of "French Champagne" (note to waiter - all Champagne is French!) is a bit much! Bottles of beer are around $10 and... More

Went for dinner as three adults and our ten year old. Fabulous views, imaginative fresh food prepared and presented well, professional, attentive and friendly wait staff without any hint of snobbery. The pricing is high but in our view matches the experience and quality of the food so no complaints at all. I find it odd to see the odd... More

ARIA was a special night for me and my partner. One of those rare - money doesn't matter/let's celebrate being together - nights. And in Brisbane, this is one of the restaurants in that class to really fit the bill. The food was good (not great), the wine list amazing and the view and staff very good. But, let's face... More

Visited a while back but enjoyed every moment. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable and interacted with you and made you feel welcome. Food, as you imagine, was amazing. Was an expensive night but worth every cent.

I have to say i felt the service was impeccable. The staff were very attentive, friendly, funny but not overly involved. I really enjoyed the food but for me it was a great food experience starting with champagne and fresh oysters. The seafood was heavenly as was the chocolate desert. It's probably a one off experience for me but one... More

Description
ARIA Brisbane, located on the Eagle Street Pier, provides the quintessential Brisbane dining experience, with striking views from the restaurant of the Brisbane River. Owned by chef Matt Moran and restaurateur, Peter Sullivan, ARIA boasts a well-balanced seasonal menu, featuring local and Australian produce and an award winning wine list, served in an elegant dining room with stunning views. "If it's fine dining you seek, in a split-level expanse of understated elegance that affords sweeping city views, this sibling to Matt Moran's southern star ticks the boxes. Add a stellar cellar selection, with a thoughtful nod to Queensland wineries, plus accomplished service and you've hit the right notes, particularly for corporates and lovers of occasion. There's obvious skill, attention to detail and quality produce on show from opening chords to final flourish. Succulent pork belly has perfect golden crackling, while plump duck dumplings, abalone and mushrooms swim in a Peking duck consomme. Kingfish baked in cedar bark has its wrapping set alight en route to the table, adding a welcome smokiness. Creamy custard tart alongside figs, apple slices and candied walnuts has real retro charm. A sweet farewell gift box of miniature macarons rounds out a night to remember." Gourmet Traveller Australia
