Great Indonesian selection for lunch. Doesn't look like much and is at the back of an arcade but is a popular spot with locals looking for a bit of spice at lunchtime. About $15 a plate of various selections.

Very casual and bit tired but it is a very popular spot and the food is tops and value is very good. Bit hard to find, but decent feed. Lunch hours on weekdays only.

This place is not much to look at and you definitely would eat here if you never heard about it before. But it is Darwin favourite and many locals come here because of the authentic Indonesian cuisine and generous servings. There little old ladies serve you and they may not be the most bubbliest but they are adorable. Just looking... More

Came back this year after a number of fantastic lunches late last year. This time came for lunch everyday while we are in Darwin. Recommend the chilli egg, dry beef, chilli curry chicken and sambal.

Had a tasty lunch today - rice, chilli eggplant, beef rendang and spicy egg with sambal. Authentic flavours and well worth the visit - food is more Javanese 'hotness' rather than true Padang (Sumatran) style, but still spicy enough. Staff are pleasant - agree with others who have rated highly. I will be coming back again...

Visited this delicious kitchen two days in a row for lunch as it was so good!! You can get a small for $11 or a large for $12 this includes rice and three curry options. Highly recommend it!

This is my ideal weekday lunch. Rendang, curry beans and eggplant sambal. So delicious and super cheap. Authentic and perfect. Goes great with cold beer!

Beef rendang is cooked to perfection. The beef texture was soft but I think it should be spicier. Ordered the fish curry as well and it was really good too. it's a hidden gem in the city and I think if they serve the gado gado on the spot as well, it would be perfect!
