The Darwin Trailer Boat Club is Darwin's oldest seaside Club. From its humble origins in 1954, trading from a modified caravan, the Club has grown to become a Darwin institution. Today the Club boasts an architect-designed modernist Club House with a capacity of 1,000 people that takes full advantage of its absolute water frontage. Whilst the Darwin Trailer Boat Club is a members club we do welcome people visiting Darwin and the general public to enjoy our facilities and our hospitality. Visitors are allowed to use the Club for up to six occasions in any one year. Many choose to join before their sixth visit, seduced by the ideal setting, the fabulous fare at the Bistro and the Club spirit.

We heard that seafood is quite good here, so we ordered a plate of seafood special(Chile prawn) which was just as the reputation. Good size for the price. Seafood pasta was also something. It had shrimp and crabs! The pasta noodle, well it’s not a...pasta special place. The view is great. It is located near the beach. You can enjoy the sunset and have a cold bear on your hands. Flies are quite annoying for outside dining but that just everywhere in NT. For the desert We tried the fried ice cream. It was quite delicious and good price for the size. Overall the view, atmosphere, taste, price, service are all great. Comfortable place to be.More

We were hungry for quality seafood and decided to choose something special. The Festive seafood platter had a nice ring to it. The seafood tower looked sensational - a mixture of fresh cold and hot cooked platter. Enjoyed most. However, there was one disappointment. The...half crayfish Mornay. It looks like crayfish Mornay but it’s like a cheat’s version. It tastes like a warmed up crayfish shell with pieces of crayfish meat, smothered with cheese - that was rather disappointing for a $80 platter!More

Greatly appreciated the club’s fantastic hospitality, as displayed by all your staff last Friday night, I can tell you our members enjoyed it hugely. The food was great and commented on very favourably by everyone. Your staff had also cordoned off an area near the...bar due to the rain so we seamlessly transitioned to a wet weather program inside. We'll definitely be back next year (and in between!). Again, many thanks!More

Booked a table for lunch for 12 people. Making the arrangements was super easy. The food and service we received on the day was fabulous and our guests had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch.

Authentic, tasty curry, I went twice mid year and could not fault the food, cold drinks and panoramic views. Talk about extensive menu, every dish you could think of & made it hard to decide. As a Darwin resident always take my visitors there and really...enjoy the place. (My uncle John boasted about the Club starting out with a palm tree make-shift shelter back in '50s). Go mid week, no crowds like on the packed weekends.More

The calamari were delicious, the barramundi was good, but the vegetarian laksa was terrible. You can’t even call this soup a laksa. The venue has a great location, so would go there again only for drinks and sunset.

This place was very chilled and relaxed. Gorgeous views, great to have live music in a Sunday afternoon. Food was average but the cold drinks and views were amazing. I would definitely come back for the atmosphere alone.
