After a busy morning volunteering it was lovely to relax and order a selection of yum Cha dishes. A couple of my friends are quite fussy eaters but we were able to find a fair selection. We wanted a dish that was not on the menu. The cook came out, discussed, & made the dish for us. Excellent service &... More

Everything on the menu is of the highest quality and their Pho is amazing. Can highly recommend Pho or pork. Fried rice is full of extras.

I was invited to a business lunch at Ruby and hadn't eaten there before despite seeing that it was generally fairly busy during the lunch hour. I was pleasantly delighted with the food, I ordered a Spicy Coconut chicken and it was absolutely delicious. Ruby is now on my list of places to take colleagues or business partners for lunch.

This restaurant t is great for all, couples, friends, family and large groups. Staff are helpful. Food is lovely. Banquets are good value for large groups. Their Pho's and soups are huge. Their lunch meals are just enough with a small serve of your dish and rice. It is byo, however $10 corkage per bottle is pricey.

Probably the worst Pad Thai I've had in Darwin. Noodles swimming in a rather unpleasant overly salty sauce dotted with pieces of rubbery chicken. No finesse, no freshness and all topped off with begrudging service from the waitresses who clearly would rather have been somewhere else. With all the good Asian eateries that abound in Darwin I would not return.

Ruby is a great place to eat in the Darwin CBD. Large outdoor area with aircon comfort inside. A mixed Asian menu caters for all tastes and the quality of the dishes we ordered was high. The service was hit and miss and a little training would push me closer to giving Ruby five stars. We will be back.

After being disappointed by poor service at another research rant we stumbled upon Ruby. Excellent service and beautiful food. The eggplant fish was delicious and the kids polished off the Mongolian lamb. Thank you

This place does serve good flavoursome Yum Cha. However, you will need to set aside 2-3 hours of your morning/day to eat here. Food coming out slower than a sloth!! No kidding! Our Congee turned into water as we waited for the rest of our order to come out - that slow.

We go often to this restaurant especially for the spicy coconut chicken. The food is always great however the service could be better. The cleanliness also needs attention-the menus are very grubby, and need replacing and the outside area needs a good waterblast.
