My companions and I went to La Beach yesterday, Sunday. We chose 2 crumbed and one grilled Barramundi, chips and a garden salad $60+. The salad was soggy and had started to go bad......the grilled Barramundi was thin and poor quality, chips were average. All in all, a very an appealing meal. Would not recommend.

This was a nice place to visit for fish, chips and perhaps a cleansing ale while enjoying the view of the ocean. The food is very nice and their range of available fish (including Flake, to my wife's delight) was good. But it's the lovely view that makes this place worth the trip. A good place.

We were very disappointed to go to la beach yesterday for the sunset to find it is closed! Google has it listed as open today but when we went up there they have a sign out that it is closed from 4-12 oct for whatever reason. If we had known we would not have bothered as nothing much is open... More

Bit of a hit and miss deep fried food how can you stuff that up? Over cooking ! When it was cooked good the batter on the battered sav's was really thick! Then the other time the potato cakes were the best and then they were so small ! But they always throw in a few extras ! You can... More

Best fish and chips in the area. Cannot fault. Efficient service even during busy periods. Do also try other items on the menu - the local prawn was really just one prawn, but a huge and juicy prawn it was!

My favourite place for fish and chips in Darwin. Fish is always perfectly cooked and the chips are always crispy.

Went there one afternoon for a quick bite to eat as we had been recommended to eat here....however found it was lacking atmosphere both inside and outside and overpriced except prawns were delicious. Chips werent even cooked. Great spot to watch the sunset, sadly not great for what we felt we paid for but the owner was lovely.

Overpriced for fish and chips but the view is terrific. We had barramundi which was ok but expensive at $16 a piece

Thank watkini
