Good modern Australian menu. Dishes not available at other venues. Kangaroo fillet perfectly cokked and presented.Booking is essential as it is not a large restaurant. Suitable for a special dinner rather than a family dinner with small children

The best eating place in Town ! The fillet stack was sensational and the sauce superb !!! The fish was excellent too, but the stack takes the price! The whole dining experience was a great with good service! Entree and desserts were of similar standard. We come here again !

Service was amazing. Thanks to Rhys for being so accmodatating and professional. You will go far in hospitality. The kangaroo is the stand out dish. Really tender and great flavour. Much better value than sydney restaurants

We dined here knowing it would be expensive , particularly given the cost of flying in produce. It was not a cheap night out , but definitely a special one. The Kangaroo dish was exceptional, beautifully cooked and served with a deliciious sauce. My daughter's kids meal was excellent - she rated it up there with one of the best... More

We ate at Arnguli last night and had a fabulous experience. Our waiter, Rhys, gave us great service: not over the top but happened to appear just at the right time. Steaks were beautifully cooked; sides a little hit and miss but generally very good. Highly recommended.

Yes a steakhouse generally means a more expensive meal. The Arnguli Grill is no exception. However, the quality matches the price and there is a good range to chose from. Importantly, there were some lovely choices for dessert. I recommend the sampler for some unique local flavours. It is advised that you book for dinner and I could see that... More

My partner & I dropped in on a whim after failing to land a booking in our resort Sails In the Desert, having gone off to observe the sunrise over Uluru & spending the morning trekking some of the canyons & walks around Kata Juta. Granted getting up to watch a sunrise is a bit early in the morning to... More

I would like to rate this restaurant higher but despite very good food this restaurant was lacking in the finesse of a true fine dining restaurant. We found the space bland and the entry down a corridor not a very promising arrival. Perhaps it needs better separation to the other dining area next to it? The food was expensive but... More

Our party of four including two coeliacs, one with numerous additional intolerances, received sympathetic and highly competent service as suitable dishes were negotiated and then delivered. The meals were presented well and of were of excellent standard. Service was attentive but not suffocating. A positive dining experience for all of our party.

Arnguli is the local Indigenous name for the bush plum. The plum flourishes even in the driest areas. Its importance in desert life is immortalised in dreaming stories and artwork.A gem of Australia’s rugged heart, the bush plum is a fitting name for a restaurant that celebrates its stunning surroundings. Executive Chef Kellie Quazi selects and transforms the finest produce from around Australia into a modern culinary experience. Quality products from every corner of the country are enlivened by local Indigenous flora, spices, grains and seeds
