The menu is mixed and varied, with a good wine list, and matching suggestions for each dish on the menu. The meals were well presented, and perfectly cooked, and wines were at a suitable temperature. Staff were friendly and efficient, ensuring the wine and water glasses were well topped up, and dishes were served promptly, but not too quickly. A... More

The food was very freash and well prepared, but the prices are just way too hi! For the same price you can get a buffet dinner with equally amazing food at Sails in the Desert. We went here on our last night to have a change from the Sails restaurant, but left a little dissappointed...

This restaurant is the nicest in the desert gardens hotel, without a doubt. The problem is, it's not sure what it wants to be. The dinner menu shouts fine dining meanwhile the layout is that of a classic buffet hotel restaurant and varying levels of attire and no music. The food itself is very nice although not cheap, but that's... More

My wife and I ate here for dinner one night because it was one of the better rated restaurants. We were disappointed though. Prices were very high, but everything in the resort is expensive. I had the Kangaroo and my wife had the chicken. Kangaroo was fine. Chicken was dry. Service was good and attentive. Overall we had an average... More

I cannot fault the atmosphere, range of dishes, or cost effectiveness of this venue. There were plenty of options for vegetarians and Coeliacs, the food was filling and presented beautifully, drawing on a variety of Australian ingredients and tasting wonderful. The restaurant featured a number of local paintings and sculptures, and was clean, neat and comfortable. There was ample parking... More

Firstly let me advise you that meals at Arnguli Grill are large. We were unable to finish our second course and certainly couldn't have eaten three courses, unfortunately, as the food was lovely and we would have liked to try more of the dishes on offer. This is the only 'fine dining' style restaurant at Ayers Rock Resort. The staff... More

The food is stunning, service very good, ingredients very fresh. I really didn't expect this in the middle of the Australian desert and in such a remote area. Top class dining, it's pricey but reflects the quality of the experience, quantity of the food and quality as well. I totally recommend it!!

We stayed at Sails and were underwhelmed by the buffet at Ilkari. The meal at Arnguli was superb. Steaks cooked to perfection, as was the lamb. Service was excellent and the advice given about wine was spot on. A bit expensive to eat here each night but we'd love to have done so.
