I went to this cafe on the first night of our stay for dinner and it was very busy. There was just 3 of us and there was a bit of a wait for a table which we were advised of and which we accepted. We ordered and after a bit of a wait our food was ready. The food... More

Great cafe to have some lunch, very spacious, good vibe and good food and beverages. Great that you could book the bill to your room. Sails Of The Desert.

While there were some dinner meals on offer eg beef cheeks, steak etc, for the main it is fast food - pizza, burgers, pasta. The service is quick and the tables turn over very quickly. Meals are fine but nothing to rave about. Each hotel in Yulara seems to offer three types of restaurant - one cheap eats, one medium... More

Only and closest restaurant to utilize while waiting for our room to be cleaned. BUSY place and were out of several items as we arrived (1400). Manager was kind enough to adjust bill for missing items. Tea and food GREAT. Reasonable prices.

We ate at Geckos early one evening before our Field of Light tour. Easy to get a table just after opening, we noted that there were bigger queues later in the evening. My battered barramundi tasted really odd (batter very thick), but the rest of the family enjoyed their schnitzels and pizzas.

Food and drink at the resort We chose to self-cater for most of our stay because we felt the hotel restaurants were expensive ($40 upwards for most main courses). Unfortunately, the more reasonable alternatives stopped taking orders at 9pm. These included the popular Gecko’s Café in the town square (mains $18-25 but pizzas a pricey $22-28) and the cheap and... A very busy and rather noisy place but good food and fine for groups. The service was pleasant and speedy and good choices of pizza and pasta make the cost quite reasonable.

Waited 25 minutes to get one flat white coffee. Not worth the wait. I think in peak seasons, such places need to cater for the influx of tourists.

We went for lunch as a family, 2 of our party received their food a good half an hour before we did. We ordered a basic hamburger and chips, chips were half cooked and the burger buns were all crumbly - it was really bad. All up we waited an hour for our food to be ready and it was... More
