Food was ok. But sushi in the dessert is something to be a bit careful about. My steak was tough. The salad bar was a little limited. Ambience was dowdy and cliche. On the bright side, the pub was open air with billiards tables and live music. A great was to pass an evening.

Eating in Ayres Rock Resort is expensive, no matter which venue you choose, but this one is better priced than most. Selecting your protein & then cooking it yourself along side other tourists is a lot of fun. You can't help but discuss your sightseeing of the Rock etc. There is always live music, so not a place to go... More

Staff are not empathetic . It is not cheap very expensive . The venue is clean and had a nice ambience. Long wait time to pay $30.00 dollars to cook a piece of steak.

This bar is very casual and probably designed for back packers as bunk rooms were fitted around. This is the only bottle shop in resort so go here for your take away beers and wine. Bench style seating under cover serving lovely cold beers Worth a visit on a hot afternoon as the restaurants around the "town centre" are closed

This was a great place to have a beer after a long day hiking Uluru and the Olgas. The food was great too and having the 'cook it yourself' option was a great way to save money. Oh and don't get me started on the salad bar! Everything was fresh and delicious! How they maintain such fresh food being so... More

After a long day exploring the Uluru and Katarina Juta we stopped in here for a quick feed and a few beers. Interesting pub with good atmosphere, live music and cook your BBQ. The service was good, beer cold. Food a bit over priced but we are in the middle of nowhere. Must have been ok as we went back... More

For such a remote place, and a virtual monopoly, this place gives you a good feed. The entrees looked tired so we went for the steak and cheese for afters. Not a bad wine list...try the Tassie Pinot...a cracker. BUT make sure you book. We had booked for 4, arrived back from the sunset view of the Rock, and into... More

We stayed at the Pioneer Hotel Resort and enjoyed the food at this bar. Facilities also include a pool and games room. Service was good.

I expect food to be more expensive in the Outback - so when you pay a reasonable amount for dinner - it ought to be a least eatable! Sadly, the steaks available at this place were very tough - and it had nothing to do with cooking - they were just poor cuts of meat! The rest of the serve... More
