Small and intimate, but oh my its amazing. We had the set menu, and I couldn't fault one mouthful. BYO so it wasn't only the best thai food its also so well priced. Will be back for sure.

Food was delicious, service lovely, but portions are quite small. We were in a group and ordered mains to share and most left hungry. Barramundi special was devoured!

We often eat Thai food back home with one place we rate highly, but this place beats it hands down. All 6 dishes that we ordered were tasty tender and super enjoyable. When we are back in Sydney we will be making a V line to this place.

Have been going to this restaurant for yonks and have never been disappointed. Thai Nesia has to be one of the most successful, long staying restaurants on Oxford Street. The menu is simple but delicious with generous portions. Their salt and pepper tofu entree is a must as well as any of their curries or stir fries. The Morning Glory... More

Had a group of friends join us for a table of 8 and we all ordered a variety of food. Every dish was great. Taste, presentation and freshness was awesome with the best Chicken Satay I’m sure in Sydney! Lovely atmosphere with very friendly, helpful staff who are always around for if you need anything and nothing is a problem.... More

The food was very tasty and original with lots of beautiful spices, right down to miniature eggplant that you would normally only see served in Thailand, we had Red Curry Prawns, slow cooked Pork belly, a Chicken and Fish dish as well, all food very tasy and fresh. The tables are quite small for this amount of food and the... More

Authentic Thai with innovative dishes that separate Thai Nesia from the ordinary Thai restaurant. What a pleasurable experience, where our little group's taste buds danced all thru the meal!! I was itching to try the Betel Leaf with Prawn and savoured each morsel. We shared various main meals, guided by our delightful and very patient waiter who took us on... More

Staying in Darlinghurst

Neighborhood Profile
Home of the small bar revolution in Sydney, Darlinghurst has more bars per capita than any other suburb. Themes range from American whiskey bars and 1950’s theme bars to hidden bars requiring secret passwords. Oxford Street is the "Gay Capital" of Australia, where gay and lesbian-friendly venues feature “diva shows” and dancing until the morning. Vintage lovers flock to Crown Street, and small designer boutiques can be found along Victoria and Bourke Streets. Dining in Darlinghurst is a gastronomic adventure. Food from all over the world is on the menu, from American ribs to tapas, sushi to gelato and every ethnicity in between.
