Went to this establishment at 8.15pm and was told the kitchen had closed. So went on the website and saw that the kitchen closed at 8.30pm not 8.15pm. Extremely disappointing and the host at the front of house was very rude about it. Shame because it looks like a lovely place with a good menu. But because of the service... More

A really lovely place with an atmosphere that takes you to France. The Bouillabaisse was magnificent - broth was amazing. The 2 or 3 course pricing is really reasonable and it is BYO which is excellent!

We visited this restaurant on the way home and thought lets try it. Upon being seated, we were asked if we would like some water, 15 minutes passed and we were asked again. I ordered the Lamb Rack, when it came out it was cold and hadn't been cooked properly. My partner ordered the Risotto and was horrified, we both... More

This restaurant was a traditional french offering, with an unforgettable outdoor garden experience, and a very sweet old brown dog who slowly roamed around and greeted everyone. The steak was premium, and the wine pairing recommendation was much appreciated. Great value - and we will certainly return if we ever visit the area again.

The atmosphere and food was great. Our table of 4 had an amazing experience with the food and wine. The service was helpful and pleasant without being over the top The food was presented well and the waiters explained each dish An overall great experience and highly recommended a place to return and savor the whole menu

Lovely small French restaurant. Seating a little close and on the night we went a large group who were very noisy, but other then that great. Plenty of choice and wine list good.

It was highly recommended by my French friends... BUT ... I reckon they may have forgotten what a good French restaurant is. Food okay. Menu limited (very). Poor choices. Price is okay. Well located in a busy area of Sydney with lots of young(ish) clientele. Service slow. Got the wrong bill (glad I checked). The courtyard is nice (if you... More

We were 2 couples having dinner on a Sunday night in this restaurant and we have been very satisfied with the service , the food and the general atmosphere.Everything was nicely paced, we had plenty of advise about the entree , mains and desserts and what to expect. The dishes we have chosen were delicious, nicely executed and almost perfectly... More

My friend and I went here to celebrate our two birthdays. We booked for lunch and were seated in the courtyard. Perhaps it was because the weather was perfect or perhaps because we had the space to ourselves, we couldn't have asked for a better position. The waitress was so wonderful. She was friendly, called us by name and was... More

Neighborhood Profile
Surry Hills
Once regarded as the traditional fashion area, Surry Hills has broadened its appeal. This neighborhood continues to distinguish itself as a shopping destination, offering the best collection of one-of-a-kind boutiques, designer brands and flagship stores in the city. Today, this area has evolved into a hub of media, design and professional services - a colorful and diverse place equally known for its antique dealers, art galleries, cafes and pubs. Strolling down the street on a Saturday morning, you’ll see a mix of students, artists, hipsters and a few all-nighters from Oxford Street, the “Gay Capital of Sydney”. In this vibrant neighborhood you will find bohemian chic and modern style co-existing side by side.
