Expect a lot after reading all the positive reviews. However, disappointed and thought it was grossly overpriced probably of the one smh hat. Will not return for sure. Good: Food was nice but having said that we paid for similar fresh sushi and sashimi in Japanese restaurants in the north shore at much cheaper costs. Negative: 1. The place is... More

We went here with friends, on a Saturday night. The food was delicious, the wait staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is really nice, be it in the restaurant or bar. It is quite pricey, but it is an up-market venue. Will definitely return if in the mood for great sushi!

Have dined here many times and it doesn't disappoint. It always feel special and the staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable with their professional and attentive service The food is divine, so fresh and prepared before your eyes Not a cheap experience but for a special occasion or business catch up, it's perfect

Sushi E is by far the nicest sushi restaurant in Sydney. I have been here a few times and the food is amazing, the staff is beyond beautiful, and the location is right. I will certainly be back again and again. I suggest this place for lunch.

Fantastic food - good-looking, fresh, delicious. Food came out in a timely manner - not everything at once or too long in between. Prices make it a treat-only, but definitely worth it. Went for early Monday dinner - relatively quiet in the Hemmesphere bar sharing the space and the restaurant itself so conversation was easy. Seated by the side of... More

The sushi was good, but not exceptional. The service was way to fast... Better pacing needed... We were done in about 30 minutes which for the price you are paying is too quick.

I can only recommend you this place. Was desperate for a sushi, just checked what was next to my hotel and went there. Oh lord, I was blown away by the quality and taste. Reserve a space as it might be full and enjoy...

Like the location of this place tucked intimately into Establishment .. Was there for dinner on my birthday... Loved the wagyu sushi rolls ! My friends and I enjoyed variety of dishes but can't go wrong if you order the pork belly, Scampi or Chicjen Teriaki for a Main. My partner raved about the a Wagyu Beef Main dish, it's... More

The sushi was tasty but it wasn't spectacular. I think being part of Merivale I was expecting something with a little more 'va-va-voom'.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
