Great sushi in a city full of good places. I must say this is a particularly enjoyable place to go for a date - great light food, good drinks, great setting and vibe. Have enjoyed many meals here

I read many of the reviews that talk about noise and bad service and went in prepared, but found myself nothing but impressed (no noise issues at all). The food was excellent, both in quality and taste, came out quickly and accurately and the the...More

Fine sushi with excellent cocktails. We had a great experience including eating at the bar. Cocktails before and after in the adjacent lounge is essential. I would give 5 stars if it was not for the fact you have to queue for the lifts on...More

The restaurant is actually inside a bar/lounge. The sushi bar provided most seating around the bar, plus a few smaller tables next to the windows. We went on a weeknight around 6pm & didn't wait long to be seated @ the sushi bar. Later in...More

Went for a quiet dinner with my gf. Relaxing, elegant if slightly pretentious place. Probably too relaxing as dishes took too long to arrive, if they arrived at all. In all they missed 4 items we ordered, the final straw was waiting 30 minutes for...More

Sat up at the counter at this stylish Sydney sushi restaurant. It's been there for years and they have the confidence to stick with the same approach. Efficient service. With a smile. Salt and pepper cuttlefish was spectacular. Black cod just wonderful. If you pick...More

The Style, the Setting, the Staff, the Service - but most of all - the Food. It's all sublime - just like a Japanese Restaurant should be.

Sushi-e hahigh ceilings, highly comfortable armchairs and sofas and good separation between table. All in all it is one of my very favourite restaurant spaces in Sydney. It can be buzzy without being noisy and is a perfect place for lunch. The food on the...More

The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,

Description
Imagine you're in Tokyo dining at an enclave of modern Japanese expression. At the centre of a huge marble bar you watch head chef, Nobuyuki Ura, and his team serenely at work, precisely turning fresh fish into edible works of art. Welcome to sushi e. Adjoining the chic cocktail lounge Hemmesphere on Establishment's fourth floor, Sushi e is one of the few authentic sushi bars in Sydney and enjoys a dedicated following of sushi fans around the world - including Tokyo.
