Can only add to the fulsome praise of other reviewers. The sushi is perfection, especially the soft shell crab. Met the exacting standards of my Japanese trained chef of a husband. Only problem was we over-ordered, the pork belly, although delicious, was severely a bridge too far! It was much larger than we envisaged.

This restaurant has a great sushi bar and tables for those who prefer not to embarrass themselves with chopsticks in front of the chefs! The sushi, sashimi and rolls are superb. The waitstaff are lovely and helpful (thank you Qwan) and the fish is incredibly fresh! The sashimi plate we had came close to just melting in our mouths. I'd... More

Sushi e has been a favourite of mine for many many years. The room is wonderful, a great open space that only slightly separates the sushi bar and surrounding area from the gorgeous Hemmesphere cocktail lounge on the same floor. Great ambiance. Amazing cocktails. A well priced wine list too. The sushi chefs are all very friendly, they do most... More

Came for dinner and everything on the menu was tempting. Our wait person was most helpful and knowledgeable and we trusted her recommendation. It was spot on and we found the food innovative and tasty. The serves were small and we had 3 very hungry people polishing everything off. Due to the small serves we ordered a fair selection of... Sushi E is great for social meetings as well as business meetings. Nice wine selection and fantastic food. On the pricier side but what do you expect for a city venue

Excited about this place. Seated in a corner and I am tall yet staff couldn't move me because of bookings. Got our order wrong and gave us two sashimi. My partner not realizing took a piece and because she did we got charged for it even though it was not our mistake. Secondly the Balmain bugs were terrible one of... More

Really nice sushi rolls and great service. We had roll called balmain bug and it is a white Australian fish apparently. It was delicious. We went here twice during our two day visit here and liked it just as much for lunch as for dinner. A bit expensive however at about £85 for two with only soft drinks.

I first visited SushiE with my partner and my friend. A bit hard to find the place from the start but when we got there, it was so nice and lovely ambience. The food was excellent. So fresh, so beautifully presented and the taste was divine. Great selections of Sake and wine lists. Their dessert is also amazing. We had... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
