Madang has not disappointed in the few times that I have been here. This time we ordered the seafood pancake and requested for it to be extra crispy😊 It came crispier and maintained the moist in the inside 👍🏻👍🏻 The rice vermicelli tasted so good it was almost like a Mys style fried rice vermicelli ... The spicy fried chicken... More

This is one of two Korean BBQ restaurants down a pretty seedy alley off Pitt St near the corner of Liverpool St. We used to go to O Bal Tan next door, because the queue to get into this place was too long, but it's changed hands and isn't quite what it used to be, so Madang got a run... More

There were 9 of us and the food was excellent, service was good, there was a slight language barrier as none of us spoke Korean, but this just adds to the authenticity. The food service was fast and the staff were very attentive. We arrived early (5.15pm) as this place gets really busy and you will find yourself waiting in... More

We have been to Madang on a number of occasions. As a couple, small group and large group. The bbq is always great. The sides are delicious and you can keep asking for these to be topped up. The restaurant is Byo which is always a bonus. There is always a wait to get in, a sign that Madang is... More

My fave Korean restaurant for delicious Korean soups. Long queues so go early. Baby friendly. Great and friendly staff! Must try their kimchi jigae and seafood pancake. Not a place famous for BBQ so I would stick to the stews soups and other cooked menu dishes.

We recently dined at this restaurant. The menu photos look great on the internet, the service isn't too bad although it took some effort to communicate with staff to get some kind of the right dish we were hoping for. The foods are horrible. Can you imagine we ordered a Noodles soup dish, we were given the clear soup and... More

Stopped by here for lunch special. It was great value and tasty. Best thing about Korean places is they offer a number of small side dishes for free. This place served 4 kinds of side dishes (Kimchi, fishcake, potato salad...). I ordered the BBQ Pork dish and bean paste (thicker version of miso) soup. They were pretty good. I will... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
