This has been one of my fave places for 15 years. We drive from Newcastle to eat here! Same fantastic taste each time! Super fast and super yummy.

Having had Pad Thai at this restaurant each visit we have made to Sydney, it has becone a 'Sydney must do'. I was not disappointed this visit. This dish from here has become the standard that I compare every Pad Thai that I try elsewhere. Go have a visit!

I was dying to go here after hearing good reviews. Lots of options of different types of dishes, you can pick you sauce, type of noddle and protein. Good sized portions and a good price. Only bugger was the seagulls that kept having to be swooshed away.

Pleased to find gluten free options. Had the Chicken Pad Thai here. It was delicious. Good sized meal, cheap with outdoor seating. Be prepared to wait during peak lunch hours as it often had large queues.

Was looking for some cheap tasty asian food one evening. A friend recommended this place and we tried it. Basically its a food stall in the rocks with outdoor seating. The food choices were simplistic but with a good variety. I ordered the Laska and they served it quickly and brought it to my table. It was very tasty and... More

Found this place tucked away whilst in the rocks a couple of weeks ago. The noodles are cooked to order fresh, serves are generous, and the price very reasonable, especially compared to other dining options in The Rocks. Tasty too! Recommended!

We walked around looking for a reasonably priced place to eat and found this quiet place. I ordered a chicken dish and my husband order friend rice, we asked for No chilies. My husbands meal was lovely but mine was covered in chilies so I took it back and got pad Thai, I ate it but did not enjoy it.... More

Hi Tina, I'm glad your husband enjoyed his meal but I'm sorry that you did not. We try to make sure we're clear about which of our dishes are spicy and which dishes have a spicy sauce and cannot be made without chili. We'll do better next time. I hope you'll give us another chance. Kind regards, Francesca More

Found this place while staying in Sydney and touring The Rocks area. It's a little hidden kiosk which is easy to miss. Food is very good and service was quick. Price was also very reasonable given the area. Restaurants in the area tend to be very pricey but this one was quite reasonable. Luckily, we went for a late lunch... More

This place is a little hidden at the moment as there is some work going on in front of it. But certainly worth finding. Staying at four seasons just down the road and wanted a quick bite to eat without dressing up. Menu was simple to order from staff friendly and food was very tasty. Seating is outside but mostly... I'm a Backpackers, always wondering whether its worth spending money on eating in a restaurant. But Wok on Inn is totally worth it!! Had some breathtaking Nasi Goreng. Huge portion plus water for 10.95 AUD. Would definitely recommend it! :)

Staying in The Rocks

Neighborhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighborhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
