We sat down for a couple of glasses of wine before our actual dinner. The wine selection is amazing and the service impeccable.

There were four of us, we hadn't booked and got a table immediately. We ordered meals and drinks. The drinks came but they mixed them up so I got Scotch and a friend started drinking my Bourbon. Two of the meals were the same. When they came out one plate had five tiny pieces of fish whilst the other had... More

This is a lovely restaurant within the Hilton Sydney located on the second floor. On a daily basis they have a full buffet breakfast available (very good) but in the evening the room is essentially transformed into a wonderful dining experience for those who enjoy fine cuisine. Service is exceptional and there is a truly spectacular wine list available. The... More

Located on the 2nd floor of the Hilton, this restaurant serves the hotel but is also available as a standalone. I had the breakfast buffet. There were a lot of hot and cold options, lots of fruit, various breads and 3 or 4 different kinds of juice. This was one of the best breakfast buffets I've ever had. Now, it... More

Meeting someone at their hotel for dinner can often be a disappointment - not so the Hilton in Sydney. The food range and quality was very good and the service attentive. I can reccomend the kingfish sashimi, and in our party of four we were all pleased with our choices. We each had an entree and main, no one had... More

When in Sydney we often stay at the Hilton Hotel. The Glass Brasserie is first class. We have visited for breakfast, lunch and dinner. On all occasions we have been impressed.

My partner and I went for the corporate lunch menu specials today and were treated to a delicious lunch. We both chose the meat balls and creamed mash potato. She has a glass of the white wine on offer as part of the set menu and I had San Pellegrino mineral water. We were sorely tempted to try the butterscotch... More

As always Hilton is nothing but amazing , got to the hotel checked in after a long flight and went straight up to have a bite to eat at the glass brasserie, food was nothing but great but the waiter service (Chris) decided to throw a cork bottle at one of his colleagues and missed and hit my work colleges... Glass has a great view of the city and an awesome breakfast menu. I opted for the chia pudding which was good but could have used a bit more fruit with it. My husband had the smashed avo which was also good. Our waitress did forget to bring my orange juice - which she brought out once I reminded her.... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
