Had walked by this restaurant a few times and was attracted by the German/Eoropean flavour being promoted. We were looking for a light lunch on a Sunday, so decided to try "Maggie's" out. We were welcomed and seated promptly with menus presented. I asked if we could have a couple of German Lager draught beers whilst we looked over the... More

We had a visit to Maggies on our recent trip to Sydney. Maggie previously setup Una's and we were pleased to see the new venue is the same and better. Great food, Reasonable prices and excellent service.

I have been to Maggies on a number of occasions and have never really been disappointed, except on this occasion. I ordered the Swiss Bratwurst and it was very underwhelming. The bratwurst was dry, fairly tasteless and gristly. The sauerkraut and roti however were good. The beer at Maggie's is fantastic and cold and the homemade lemonade is one of... More

Waited at bar with friend, for a few Mins. then to be told table service only. Lack of info... More

We arrived last night with no booking, but looking for somewhere to eat ahead of going to the local theatre. The staff adjusted things to fit us in. They also ensured our food was brought out quickly so we could eat and go. Overall, the food was really good - Salmon, Caesar salad and Schnitzel were our selections. Salmon and... More

I was there with a group for a Christmas party and we had a set menu with a choice of main,I had the chicken schnitzel and Jager sauce (mushroom), an old favourite but it was terrible. The entree was a share plate with some over cooked crumbed mushrooms and luke warm crumbed Camembert wedges. The chicken schnitzel had been beaten... More

Such a shame, I know Maggie tries hard. We have come here many times when in Sydney, good dinner meals, but SKIP breakfast. coffee is bad, bacon is just burned and black, and the toast cold. PLEASE GET A NEW BREAKFAST COOK
