Wonderful food and service is exceptional.. Only problem was getting into the place - we went for lunch one day to find it closed and information is in short supply! Once in though ( we had to book) it was pretty wonderful.

We have eaten here a few times, and it is consistently good. It is always busy, the food is delicious, the wine list is reasonably consistent and the service excellent. And of course the view from the terrace is stunning

It is one of THE Places to to eat a meal in Sydney! It is very hard to beat that view. But one should book a table in advance because it is a very busy restaurant both With locals and visitors. Modern and trendy surroundings in the old Customs House and delicious Food, - I really enjoyed my tandori salmon!... More

You just can't beat the view out of the windows to the harbor, although we made a reservation way ahead of time, we did not make it out to the balcony, but we were in the first row inside, and it was genuinely spectacular. The restaurant was quite crowded. There is everything from very casual sightseeing clothes to very dressy... More

We were holidaying in Sydney and our son, a resident of this beautiful city, had booked us a table at the Café Sydney on our first evening. What a way to start a holiday! The view over Sydney Harbour was breathtaking and the cuisine was sumptuous. We feasted on a wonderfully varied seafood menu the like of which I had... More

It's not a cafe, let's get that straight, just in case you were in any doubt. It's a great restaurant in an extraordinary location on Circular Quay with fabulous panoramic views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. If you want to sit on the balcony to fully benefit from those views, then you need a party of four minimum. Otherwise it's... More

We were on a tour and the group stopped for lunch. We had the lasagne, salad and a drink. The service was Excellent and the food GREAT. The price was reasonable for the type of Cafe...would recommend to friends to try this place.

We went early February and it was one of the hottest days, air conditioning was down, they should have informed us this on the day, we went as two couples, the food was nice but was very expensive for what you actually get, by the time we got our food we were drenched in sweat didn't really enjoy the food..

Staying in Central Business District

Neighborhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
