I greatly enjoyed a few drinks with colleagues at this fast and fresh pub. It is in the quaint old part of Sydney not far from the CBD but a world away in many respects. The home label beer was good - I wish I could remember the beers we had- Looks like I'll have to return to try some... More

Great food. Lovely atmosphere. The pub attracts tourists and locals. They also have a screen to watch the footy. Service is good. I would go back next time I'm in Sydney.

Went here for a function and the choice of beer brewed on site was great. They had pale ale and dark which was excellent. Finger food at Function was fresh, wholesome and just kept coming.

Located in the historic Lord Nelson's hotel and above the Pub, we joined friends for some of the best steak we've ever eaten - huge piece of grass-fed beef, perfect to share, with crispy chips, fresh steamed peas and green beans. White linen table cloths and comfortable seating made it a perfect stop following The Rocks Walking Tour of historic... More

Great old pub with their own beer. Was a little too busy for my liking on the wednesday eve we stopped by, we were waiting close to 10 mins to be served (people pushing in etc) More of an after work drinks or a quick one before you head out for dinner. Glad we came by on our travels to... More

I had The Lord Nelson on my list of places to try in Sydney. I ordered the Fish and Chips and was very disappointed. The fish was kind of wet and the batter was gross inside. Maybe it was an off day for them or something but I wouldn't go back and order that again, that's for sure. Other than... More

We went to a family birthday at The Lord Nelson last night and it was a great venue from start to finish. The team were on hand to make sure they had the hosts wishes just right, suggested some ideas for the bar tab and when the food arrived during the party it was well and truely tasty and top... More

A must visit if you like beer. We took the time to sample all the beers, so we could make a qualitative assessment for the benefit of others. The only pub we visited twice while in Sydney, great atmosphere, good food and excellent beer.
