My Wife and I attended Firedoor on the evening of 18 May 2019, celebrating my wife's 50th birthday. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the Male maitre De, and seated at a large round table near the entrance. Plenty of room for us both....More

Having keenly anticipated my visit to Fire4door, I left disappointed as it failed to meet my 2 hat expectations. All courses were pleasant enough but there was nothing memorable and the prices were a little higher than at equivalent establishments I have been too -...More

The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The venue is relaxed and attractive and the open kitchen makes you anticipate a spectacular meal. But, the very limited a la carte part of the menu is badly written which makes it difficult to choose a meal....More

My title sums it up, Firedoor is a beautiful restaurant that boasts a familiar and comforting dining room. The food is a delicate dance between the boldness of wood fire and the delicate softness of seafood and bright flavours. Tonight was a special celebration for...More

This restaurant is definitely quirky compared to most. They have a great selection of cocktails and wines. We ordered A La Carte but they also do a set menu. The menu changes daily but would highly recommend the John Dory and the 203 day dry...More

For the price and attitude I expected more. Our early seating had a strict time limit, but the pace was dictated by their service, and we had to relocate seats through no fault of our own. One great dish among several ordinary dishes on the...More
