Walking along Crown Street the place caught my eye for the interesting menu and the loud crowd. Sat in the window; very nice focaccia, absolutely luscious gnocchi with braised rabbit, and the cremino dessert is amazing. Drinks a bit expensive ($10 for a 330ml weizbier)...More

Flour Eggs Water is such a great staple for us in our local area of Surry Hills. The menu is consistently excellent, home made pasta and delicious specials. The wine list is excellent and the pricing very reasonable. The fit out and location is terrific.

I dined here solo on business trip. I really like the window/bench seating - great for the solo traveler as you don’t feel so out of place. My lovely waiter was friendly and supplied the most delicious complimentary bread and oil I have had in...More

We frequented this restaurant when it was known as Besser but it took us a while to return after the name change. We were thrilled that most of our favourites remained on the menu such as the olives al ascolana and the best meatballs in...More

The place is bright, vibrant a little quirky in style but it works. Simple tables with plastic chairs that remind you of primary school but you know what? They are really comfortable to sit on. The service was above all friendly, courteous and professional It...More

Rethink pasta. Get back to basics. Eat seasonally. At Flour Eggs Water we are fanatical about fresh authentic pasta made the original Italian way. This is the fourth outpost and offering from A Tavola and it’s a nod and a reminder to where it all began.
