For an Italian restaurant this limited menu restaurant was very below standard. The duck ragout and papadello looked very unappealing and tasted like ......... The porcini risotto was all salt in taste as was the chicken dish. As fit the tirasimu you can get better at Coles! Scratched tumblers for our wine didn't impress.

The Duck Papardelle is as good as everyone says it is! This is a wonderful local Italian restaurant - great value and BYO. It can be a bit tricky to get a table at busy times though - it pays to call ahead and check how busy they are.

Went for a friends bday dinner. The garlic bread was your standard 'half a bun with garlic butter' toasted. For mains i had a lasagna which was fantastic! Wife had a chicken and pesto risotto which was okay. As it was a friends bday he organised a bday cake. When the bill arrived we had been charged a $2.50 p/psn... More

This restaurant is perfect for a catch up with friends . The service is great and the food tastes amazing . I have been here three times and it never disappoints . I love the pesto risotto and the famous ragu . It's great that it is Byo so it is an affordable and enjoyable night out . Huge fan... More

We booked a table at Bar Baretto which is close by to Il Baretto. The ambience is less crowded and noisy at BB and the service is friendly and professional. Unfortunately I found the food disappointing. Calamari only available deep fried, and the gnocchi was drowning in cream. Very few vegetarian options, and no fresh fish. The style of cooking lacked... The family use this as there 'go to' celebration restaurant and I can see why. Menu is limited but food was tasty, well cooked and good service. Not too noisy, friendly, and not too expensive. What's not to like?

We booked at bar baretto(a couple of doors down) as wanted to guarantee a table. Since living in London, I still reminisce about the delicious brilliance of their duck Ragu and years later it doesn't disappoint. Bar baretto has a cosy atmosphere, good service and a menu to satisfy any Italian belly

We have dined at Il Baretto on a number of occasions, usually after the crowds have left from about 8.30pm when we can get a table and enjoy the food after a hard day at the office. Its like eating at home with the family. The food is fresh with generous portions; the lightly battered calamari is the best I... More
