We once mixed up Gelatomassi with the chain gelato place with a similar sounding name on the same block. Never again! The gelato here is delicious, creamy and full of flavour, not like the similar looking place down the road. Don't mix them up!

I live in Sydney and have had ice cream here on many occasions. This place is fabulous and my "go to" place for gelato. Have a look at the sundae menu as well, they are fantastic. The service is also terrific. The only gelato equal to this in Sydney is the Nutella gelato (hazelnut combined with chocolate) for sale at... More

Unlike other "gelato" in Newtown, this is fresh! You will notice it does not get ice crystals in it because it hasn't be in and out of the freezers like the other shops have done. The flavours are good without being sickly sweet and you'll find some truly authentic flavours here. When we have visitors, we always bring them here... More

Whenever I am in need of a gelato in Newtown this is my go to place. My favourite is the Dark Bitter Chocolate which has no equal on King Street for those desperate for a chocolate hit. Other favourites are pistachio and good old vanilla.

I have lost count of how many times I had Gelato here. They have a big range and varied flavours. The staff are very friendly and engaging when not too busy. They also do coffee and there are tables to eat in.They also have a small range of cookies and cakes available. They have been around for a long time... More
