Been here a couple times, has a really good outside courtyard area. Drinks are average and what you'd find anywhere but good

A group of eight arrived for dinner. With no reservation expecting an out-of-the-way table, but we were very pleasantly surprised to be shown to a central table in the beer garden, close to the bar where meals were ordered. The staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The menu is better than pub grub and very well priced. A very enjoyable... More

Had a great Sunday session on a brilliant late winter afternoon at the Courthouse Hotel in Newtown. Great friendly atmosphere and beautiful people. Food was simple as the bistro is being renovated. Nice pulled pork roll and a beef nachos were good with the Young Henry's Newtowner beer on draft.

Used to be a smokers haven but now with smart segregation and space for everyone it's Te only truly inclusive inner-west Sydney pub where anyone can enjoy a drink in their sunny and atmospheric courtyard

Went here to meet people on a Wednesday night and it was quite a busy place. We ordered the Chicken Schnitzel which came with fries and salad and was very nice.
