Nice friendly staff, really nice food (especially the scrambled eggs) and a local footie star to boot. The fresh bottled smoothies & juices were very nice.

Wow what a great breakfast! Jackie's is just off Oxford street in Paddington, hidden amongst all the fab clothes shops. There is a lovely outdoor area but it was full on a cold Sydney Saturday morning so we headed inside which was still nice. I am tough on my breakfasts but this was the best one I have had in... I've eaten here twice now and both times I've left feeling a bit annoyed. The food is a little formulaic and thin on the ground. But the bigger problem is the staff who seem cold, unapproachable and indifferent to their customers. Get a grip people you're working in a service industry!!! Try smiling perhaps? Won't be coming here again.

We stopped for tea and coffee and I had the blueberry and ricotta muffin which was absolutely gorgeous. Ask for it warmed up!

Jackie's cafe was one of my favourite cafes, but having returned there after some years I was really disappointed with the experience. The food is good, but overpriced, and service is good enough. But adding a weekend surcharge is an archaic practice that has been phased out a long time ago, given the numerous viable alternatives. Being told "we don't... More

The cafe, far from being 'quaint' or having a 'European ambience' - as two previous reviewers have described it - is a courtyard full of tables and chairs perched on the edge of concrete steps falling down into the interior space. We were there for a light lunch but the menu was confused and confusing - a separate list of... More

I'm not usually one to write bad reviews. But the price here was quite high for what was very average/below-average food. I'm no food critic but this place is one of the most disappointing eats we've had in Sydney.

I always wanted to check this place out,its very popular with the youger beautiful set.I had a glass of white and angel hair pasta with chilie prawns, which just seemed fairly ordinary, too much chilies and no taste to the pasta.I was a little disappointed as it was $25 .
