The location has great views to enjoy, especially if you get a front row, balcony table, the service was friendly and professionally and the food choices are exceptional and well designed for vegetarians and meat eaters. We will definitely return for special occasions in the future

We have been to this venue several times before but this visit was not so good. Due to our numbers we had the set menu. The main dishes were delicious but the entrees let it down. The beef rendeng skewers were a bit tough and the fish cake wrapped in banana leaf was particularly smelly and tasted soggy. A great... More

Have dined there on a number of occasions. Great Malaysian dishes hot spicy sauces for those who needs them. Service is fast and efficient for lunches. Can be noisy as the restaurant is always busy. Not conducive to a romantic night out. Servings are also small and is on the expensive side. But the quality of the meals made up... More

We walked past this place for five days and decided it would be where we had the last meal for this trip. It was magic - and when I read some of the negative reviews here, well frankly they're laughable. Our waiter Taro was a star and as far as a couple of Kiwis were concerned - this was damn... More

Visited the place on a Sunday. Friendly wait staff with good service. Great food. The place gets really busy and can get a bit noisy for people concerned with calmness. But overall a good experience and good place.

This is not a place where you can have a "quiet" meal. It is very noisy and seats and tables are very close to each other. Avoid the hot and sour soup and Singapore noodles - there were nothing like I have had before!!! They were dark in colour and totally tasteless. Total cost with drink was $50. Not worth... More

Would I return? Definitely. Specifically liked: Very good quality and flavour balance of food. Good service. Nice location overlooking parts of Darling Harbour, some tables with water views. Easy to access by public transport, public car parks are nearby. Biggest Opportunity: During peak rush noise levels were high and staff were noticeably busy, though remained as attentive as they could... More

This restaurant was listed under "fine dining" and we booked it expecting a fine dining experience, so my review is based on this. Unfortunately, this restaurant is casual and loud. More like an Asian food court than a fine dining restaurant. Waiters are very laid back and casual ie: "Here's your food mate"... while slapping the dishes on the table.... More

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Sydney! The prawn curries are amazing and the signature eggplant dish is something else! Plus excellent service!

Staying in Darling Harbour

Neighborhood Profile
Darling Harbour
The original docklands of Darling Harbour have been transformed into a tourist mecca with entertainment for the whole family. Cockle Bay Wharf offers dining options from budget to upscale and million dollar views of the harbour. Young crowds gather on weekends for nightlife that ranges from salsa clubs to DJ's. Families can visit the Chinese Garden of Friendship or the Sydney Aquarium, one of the largest in the world. The Australian National Maritime Museum and the IMAX theatre are also popular attractions. The Harbourside Shopping Centre is a site unto itself, with hundreds of shops, restaurants and bars. On Saturdays in the summer, the city puts on a spectacular fireworks show along the harbour's shore and there are plenty of other free events during the year - Darling Harbour Fiesta, VIVID’s light installations and the Sydney Festival, just to name a few.
