Friday night. Got there late but called twice to warn staff, was sat at a table on the corner of the bar, with staff rushing to and from the bar in a space of about a metre and a half for the seated guest and waiters. Asked to move table as it was either that or leave, particularly as no-one... More

Caught up with colleagues from London, one being a chef lecturer. Great food and atmosphere with appropriate service. Menu was easy to understand. Fantastic place to meet and dine. The king fish entree was superb.

In the coolest, most chic and elegant way, Bambini Trust (cafe, restaurant, wine bar) is seriously old-fashioned. It has plied it's dignified trade for nigh on 20 years and still pulls a crowd of sophisticated diners who err on the side of Gallic favourites like steak frites with Cafe de Paris butter. You can of course, simply pop in for... More

Very good food and a decent wine list. My wife and I ate there 3 times in 7 days and found the staff, food and wine very good. Its not cheap but the consistance of the place was pretty impressive. Our first visit, the staff were welcoming, the second and third they really made an effort, chatting and addressing us... More

Had my birthday dinner here, can't wait to go back, the flourless chocolate cake is to die for, had the spagatini for main, best pasta dish I've ever had, couldn't ask for better service

We met a friend for a business lunch. The food was very good and the staff attentive. It was easy to talk and hear the others at the table. My oysters mignonette and spatchcock were fine but it was not a memorable meal although the others thought their meals were very good.

I have visited this restaurant twice in the past week. First for lunch and then with my family for dinner. The rooms are very quiet and beautifully decorated. The service is attentive but unobtrusive. The food is very fine. I think that the oysters (ordered on both occasions) were probably the best I have had every. Fat, creamy, essence of... More

Great Italian trattoria in the quaint Sydney neighborhood across from beautiful Hyde Park. We were Americans looking for "comfort" food for dinner. This place place was fantastic. My husband had the New Zealand salmon that was without a doubt the best salmon I've ever tasted, so moist and delicate. PERFECT. I had the pappardelle with lamb. It was exquisite. EXCELLENT... More

While in Sydney on a weekend away we were looking for a good central restaurant and the Bambini Trust was recommended to us by friends. We had stuffed zucchini flowers and scampi for entree and veal cutlet and market fish for mains. The food was wonderful and the service very good the only negative was that the tables were very... Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
