I have been coming here on and off for what seems at least 15 years. I recently went back over the last 6months for lunch roughly 4 times. The food is clean prepared fast and is cheap it reminds me of a few of the beachside restaurants in Patong. It can be a little crowded but who cares.

I have been here a number of times to grab a quick take away, which used to have a lot more flavour in the dishes than recent visits. I have heard it has recently changed hands but I'm not sure. Either way what used to be quite good is now just not bad.

Ordered the take out menu, was delivered cold, containers were half empty, food was bland and didn't even taste Thai, we ordered for 2 people and was lucky enough to get enough to make an appetiser, never again as it was very expensive for Thai food, glad we didn't actually go to the restaurant as we probably would have made... Sometimes you go to a "popular restaurant" with lines out the door and the experience is great. You go back and it's less than average. Not the case with this old favourite. The quality and value for money is always first class. The green curry pork is a personal favourite with tender meat, fresh vegetables and delicate spice that does... More

I had started going to Thai on Wok since it had opened, Now it is not somewheres on our family go to list as we tried it a few weeks after the chef sold it a few months ago and it was now not spectacular but just average. Clean, bad service, short wait, but food not worth the money anymore.... More

My family regularly eats in or has take away from Thai on Wok. We have been visiting for close to 15 years and it is still as good as ever. Other restaurants may arrive with a bang then fade but not this gem.

My family and I often order take away from here and I love it every time. The take away is really quick and convenient, the pricing is reasonable and the food is just delicious- I can never get enough of their chicken pad Thai! I would definitely recommend this place and I will definitely continue ordering take away from here.

I either ate in or got take away from here once a week for 3 years. Never had a bad experience. Food is fresh and amazing quality. Always packed. Amazing value for money - you really can share one dish the servings are so big. Highly recommended.

We have been ordering home delivery for years now, and are locals. The food is excellent, but tonight the meal was not delivered until 1 and a half hours after ordering, and was cold. We were very disappointed and will not be ordering food from Thai on Wok again. Very poor customer service, despite the good food.

This is my local Thai place. The Pad see ew and hokkien noodles are a fave. Friendly, cheap and filling. Has something for everyone.

Staying in Glebe

Neighborhood Profile
An inner city suburb along the water, Glebe has a deep-rooted sense of cultural history and heritage. It originated as a semi-rural resort for the well-to-do, but has transformed into a student-centric melting pot. Visit Glebe Point Road for ethnic cuisine as standard as Mexican, Indian, Italian and Chinese, or as diverse as Spanish, Bavarian, Polish, Czech and Lebanese. You will find that Glebe is accepting of the eccentrics and aboriginals that roam the streets, integrating students and people of all economic statuses into the multi-cultural fabric that distinguishes this suburb. Glebe Foreshore is a great destination for a leisurely walk along the Bay, and the Saturday market is a great scene for bargain hunters.
